I just found out I can get 50MB Down and 5MB Up.

I am getting the modem installed on Tuesday and can't wait to try it out and post my real speed results.

What is your speed up and down? I'm curious what the majority is out there.

Currently have a 21Mbps down and 7.2 up connection.Although I have 22 Pc's hooked up to the same connection

I have this currently with Virgin Media. Just found out that I will be receiving a free upgrade to 120mbps soon! Can't wait.

Lol I currently pay between R5000-R6000 on electricity p/m. I have these setup in the corner of my dad's warehouse so all my buddy's can come around once a week or so and enjoy a good call of duty lan :) in the afternoon between 2pm and 3pm My Girlfriend gives free computer lessons to the less fortunate kids who can't afford computers or internet.
between 3:30pm and 4:30pm we allow the kids from school to pull information of the internet for projects etc.

And no I don't use them for IM i dont make much online because I can't devote much time to IM,Currently I'm self employed working as a computer technician fixing computers and setting up networks and high sites for a tellecommunications company.

Fantastic. Maybe you could turn it into an internet cafe too and monetize it a bit :p

Has anyone noticed that even with the upgrades in Internet speed by many service providers, the monthly bandwidth cap hasn't been raised to correlate with it? I think charter internet is still a 250GB "cap" for Internet 25Mb/s and 60Mb/s. Now they are providing 30Mb/s and 100Mb/s as their top tiers. Luckily they don't enforce it as much as ATT does, which charges $10 per 50GB you go over each month. They only will send a notice out if you are causing a strain on the local network.

I've got about as good as it gets in Australia. We're still playing catch up with the US and all.

The bad part about Aussie ISP's is that, while they're starting to offer 100mbps lines - the uplink is always shitty. For example, my plan speed has an upline of 1mbps. Not sure why in this test the upline is so shitty, though.

Overall, pretty happy - considering up until recently in Aus we did not have these speeds available.
