How I make $7/day with Amazon 5 minutes work required.

A new and a very unique method, I really like idea of selecting products that offer free shipping..

Wow this is a really good method. I'm thinking about doing this so just to go into some more detail for some people, you could make your CL post just like an average person would. Say for example:

I have a ___(brand) microwave for sale. We never got around to using so it is brand new. I don't have any pictures, but it looks just like the one on this site > (insert aff link to product here).

Then the buyers go to the site and say "Hmm well here is one right here that is cheaper" *Clicks purchase*. You get monies.

Pretty easy money. Another thing regarding hiding the fact that your traffic comes from CL. What you can do is promote a product that is a little more valuable ($200 range maybe) and post an ad without any aff links or pictures. Just tell them to email you for pictures. Then they email you and you give them you aff link like so "http://amazonblahblah(dot)com" and then tell them that is what it looks like. They see the price difference and click "buy". That way they are typing the URL in manually, hiding your traffic source.

I just thought about this also: You can do this multiple times to different people with the same product. I might have to give this a try :D. Great post uma.
 
Take this a step further if its a hot product and respond to wanted emails and offer your link. There must enough people to make it worth while. I've made a sweet penny doing this.
 
Hey guys this is surely a great idea, can we use this idea to promote other affiliate products?
 
Use a story in your ad. Something like "My wife doesn't like it because it doesn't match our other appliances."
Then price it slightly higher than the item on amazon, but not much. My guess is that most people who see the post think I'm an idiot for providing them a link to a cheaper yet new item.

Apologies for noob question but what is the best way to ensure you dont get banned by Amazon for CL traffic?

i.e. blanking the referral

If you send your link by e-mail you are safe. I'd always have them e-mail me for more details and then spend them my link. I'd tinyURL it before sending or do a 301 redirect if you have a webhost and your own URL that's an easy way to stay safe.
 
Wow, this is a nice spin of the ebay/CL method. Figure out how to scale it up and you could be making some decent coinage.

Why would Amazon care where the traffic is coming from? If you're getting paid, that means they are too. I would think only companies that you send junk traffic to would care, but these people are actually buying Amazon's products.
 
Thanks for sharing, I just posted three ads and didn't attempt to hide anything. Took some photos of popular christmas gifts I've purchased but haven't wrapped up yet, and a stack of some DVD's I had lying around. The DVD ad was something like "These DVD's and more. Too many to list." Took me maybe 20 minutes. If I make any money from this I will post it here, and begin doing this hard core, but I didn't post in a city or section that required you to start a craigslist account and verify your phone number.

Definitely keep us updated as I would like to try this also, but I want to see if someone actually has some success with it.
 
this surely works. I have tried the method and it works just fine. Although I made $4-5 per day only, but still its pretty close to $7.

I tried this for a whole week, one Ad per day.
total earnings: $31.34 in one week.

I dint blanked the referrer though. :p
 
those of you blanking the referrer or those directly linking to amazon will most likely get your accounts banned if you are not getting traffic from any other source.

so I would suggest you mix blank referrers with some real traffic.
 
thats o'course what is expected.. but on a very small scale it doesnt matter phreaker...
