Hey, just a quick update:
I placed 2 orders for Rank Fuser Gold packages on January 5th. THe first order was wrapped up February 6th, almost 1 month to the day, as the sales thread mentions.
The second order is not finished yet, but based on the feedback from George, and the amount of links showing on the Excel report, it is about 95% done.
There are a couple of things I noticed:
- The Rank Fusors did not appear to do much of anything for nearly the entire month. In fact, for about the first 20 days or so, I noticed they provided no more movement than a cheap 200 profile link package that I can get for $50, so I was looking at roughly 4x the cost for similar movement. At least, that's how it seemed at first. I am happy that I was proven wrong in the end.
- 1 keyword that was previously in the Top 10 was bounced all over the place. It went as far back as #90 last week when I looked at it. It is #23 at the conclusion of their report. I didn't feel that it's being on the 1st page was solid, which is why I included it in the Rank Fusor program in the first place. I hope it moves back to the front page soon.
Now for the good news:
The first Rank Fuser Gold package has been a huge success for me.
I manage SEO at a large company, I'm not using it for aff pages, banner/adsense revenue, etc. so my goals and objectives are probably slightly different from your own.
I mention this because for those of you like me in the local arena serving offline clients, Rank Fuser is a great package.
A bit expensive for our lower cost clients, but for doctors, attorneys, dentists, etc. it's fantastic.
For you guys doing "traditional" online marketing, I can definitely say that RF moves keywords up the SERPs, but YMMV.
That being said, with the first package, our client is extremely happy.
We are ranking a divorce attorney in a major metro against established players. Many of these attorneys have aged domains of 5-9 years, PR4 sites w/ PR1 and 2 interior pages; the average index count is between 200-250 pages of content, with several over 600 pages indexed.
Our client, for comparison, has a ~1yr old domain, no prior SEO on it (we did the design and everything on their parked domain when they came to us), about 20 pages of content, a fledgling blog, and the requisite social media profiles. We've set them up w/ profiles in the major lawyer directory sites, and that has provided referral traffic, but it hasn't obviously moved the site up the SERPs.
OK, so, what did we accomplish w/ Rank Fuser?
Well, the primary term, "[city] divorce attorney" went
from #155 to #25. That's a
620% improvement in placement over the course of the month!
For the firm's second term, "contested divorce attorney [city]" (getting more specific on the keyword- this is where the attorneys make more money, should indicate a higher commercial intent, etc because the prospect already did the research to know what type of divorce they are facing, thus are ready to hire the appropriate attorney) we saw their rank go
from #63 to #1.
For the rate the law firm is paying us, the Rank Fuser package was an easy expense. Better yet, once we get them into the top 3 (hopefully this month), 1 case would cover 2 months or so of our service.
At this rate, we can do 3 Rank Fusers or so for them for a month, if need be, w/out it negatively impacting our bottom line or other costs we are putting into their site.
I've let the Rank Fusors renew for this month and I've added 3 more. As soon as I finish writing this review, I am off to go submit the ticket for the keywords and URLs for the new packages as well.
Hope this helps, all!
