I can't see why you would bother. What could you possibly hope to sell except an Amazon book or a poster?

If you want to make money then find affiliate products first then make a site to exploit it.

I can use these domains and set a Celebrity Fan website, I can attract Karate,Bruce Lee Fans to the website. I'm going to search on ebay see if i can grab anything to sell that has anything to do with Mr.Lee I also have a clothing designer,That is willing to create Bruce Lee Shirts.

For the love of Pete ignore this kind of shit.

Here's just a few off the top of my head that could tie in:

Bruce videos
Any other martial arts video
Gee's (for the non martial-artists that's "karate uniforms")
Self defense video
Bruce memorabilia
New M.A videos
UFC stuff
Soldier of Fortune type stuff
Women's self defence programs
nunchaku (num-chucks)
Chinese fireworks

Jesus, the market for stuff that ties into B.L. is almost endless if you have a brain in your head.

Will you make millions? No.

Could you turn this into a grand a month on autopilot and move on to another niche site?

Absofuckinglutely.

Sorry Wombat, but you need to shut the fuck up.

Bruce Lee is a massive, promotable, sweet ass niche item for the same reason all other massive promotable sweet ass niches are:

world wide
addicted buyer
plays on a major human theme: safety, security, sex, power

If you can't see the value in this niche, you need to stop posting this fucking drivel and do a LOT more marketing research.

Just my 2000 yen.

No I fucking don't! I just gave up on a long reply that said more or less the same thing.

Bruce Lee is NOT a niche by itself.

Bruce Lee + Kung Fu + Karate + Martial Arts + Training aids + Body building + Weapons + Dietary supplements is a GREAT niche with tons of potential and lots of products to sell.

Would I make a site about Bob Hope or Carey Grant or Shirley Temple?
Hell no!

But a site about ALL of them and others? Yeah, that would work.

"Make a site about what interests you and what you know about". Bullshit.
Well no, it isn't bullshit if that is your hobby. Good for you.

But if you want to make money you need PRODUCTS that give you a good return.

I get lots of spam for viagra and penis stretchers.

I am yet to receive a spam email offering me information on Boris Karloff.

Gee.... I wonder why?

Here's what I might try just to test things out:
1) develop the site to some extent with some good content,
2) feature some BL-related amazon products,
3) run a very limited adwords campaign (say, limited budget to 5 or 10 bucks per day) to promote your site.

As for the adwords part, you might test out some ads direct-linking to BL-related products on amazon first. the thing about amazon, which I've mentioned here before on the Affiliates forum, is that it converts like crazy -- you'll get sales from all sorts of related and unrelated products. While the commission percentages are low, the conversions are fucking sick.

I'd also check out Ruck's report on mashing. I've not completely digested it yet, but there may be some nice gems there which you can apply to promote various--or even competing--BL-related products.

Best wishes,
Sine

The Bruce Lee domains are going to be valuable , I have Spent some time Reading up Ron the Celebrity Domains,Ive read that a celebrity domain was sold for $200,000 if i can find the article ill post it up. I could always create a Fee BLog or use KickApps.com But i know shit about css/HtML there's probably plenty of affiliate websites that have a Bruce Lee image on it. Ill do some esearch After Christmas.

Have your heard the Saying "The Rapper 2pac Makes more money Now Then when he was alive?" Well it's True Death Causes attention, When your alive you are Blinded by what matters most. But when your Dead The Value of evrything increase for example Emotions,Regrets,Medical bills Ect Ect...

But with domains I believe that MyBruceLee.com,iBruceLee.com will Be a great way to start.

What exactly is a Niche?

I also Have MyChucKnorris.com <Now tell me that Won't get traffic :) They're are so many people obsessed with chuck norris He's Someone of th new generation God of ass kicking.

I am yet to receive a spam email offering me information on Boris Karloff.

Gee.... I wonder why?

Well, probably because I don't have your email address yet. Sorry, I've been under the weather of late. Kindly send to me your email address and I will commence with the spam immediately.

Please accept my apologies for the delay.

Best,
Sine

What exactly is a Niche?

Wombat spelled it out quite well, I think. In the case that he cited, it's narrowing down your content and your product promotion to target certain demographics amongst those who are also interested in BL.

Bruce Lee + Kung Fu + Karate + Martial Arts + Training aids + Body building + Weapons + Dietary supplements is a GREAT niche with tons of potential and lots of products to sell.

In other words, you might not be able to market the brand "Bruce Lee" by itself with success as it's quite broad, not to mention expensive. but you might find some success promoting "Bruce Lee" plus a certain martial arts video package, or certain nutritional supplements, or a step-by-step guide to kicking anyone's ass, or a guide to being in the moment, meditation, awareness and martial arts ... stuff like that.

Sorry, I'm tired and barely coherent.
Hope this helped.
Best,
Sine

Ok Guys,I will think of something.

Yes you fucking do! You need to either actually say something useful or shut the fuck up. You didn't ACTUALLY SAY any of what I just quoted in your post. You just took a shit on the OP.

You "gave up on a long post" that might have helped and instead hammered someone down in an insulting manner about a great potential niche by saying basically "there's only two lame ass products you can sell noob! Posters? Books? By some lame ass weak companies like amazon and ebay?"

Are you a complete hater? Insane?

This person obviously doesn't have the skill or knowledge level that you do. You could have killed a promising niche for a person who needed your help.

If your desire is to fuck up noobies and keep them out of niches, go somewhere else. This forum is about sharing and helping. If I'm wrong, Nick or Diabol or Luther or Dave can ban my ass for this post. If not... think that through.

If your intention is to help people, finish the long posts that actually help or say nothing at all. It's even easier to delete a whole post than to submit a half assed, useless reply like you did that might actually do more damage than good.

Don't brag about what you "almost" did. That's bullshit warrior forum hype. I almost learned to lift a battleship off the ground using only my mind and a piece of belly button lint. Do you care? No. So I don't post my "almosts" here.

And don't try flaming me because I'm telling you something you don't want to hear. If you can't handle truth, what the fuck are you doing on the most honest, democratic communication system ever devised in the history of humanity?

You tried to kill this person's desire and willingness to pursue a good niche. It doesn't matter WHY you did that. The fact is that you did it.

You may not like this but it's the truth.

As for your definition of a worthwhile niche: how is a new person supposed to learn to think outside the box if they get responses like, "you can only sell posters and amazon books!"

A new person who respects you might see that as truth!

How dare you come here, to a library, a place for people to learn and share, a sacred place if such a thing exists in the 21st century, and say something so completely ignorant and arrogant as "that's all you can do" then try to defend yourself with exclamation points but no real useful addition?

Call this a flame. Ban me if you must, but Wombat:

You have no idea what you're fucking doing to new people who might just see your post count and think that you can be counted upon. You're dangerous because you don't think through the consequences of your posts.

Please stop doing that.

Love,

scuba

Dear scubaslick,
You are a total wanker.

Perhaps I should join the ranks of the senior posters who have quit the forum.

You obviously know it all and don't need advice or suggestions from people who have made a living on the internet for years.

I'll leave it to you. God help you and the fools who listen to you.

...don't need advice or suggestions from people who have made a living on the internet for years.

Just to be sure that I wasn't being a wanker, I just went and read every one of your 110 posts. You seem to have some knowledge. The problem is that you don't actually share any of it, yet call me names when I call you on it.

25% of your posts are about Blogsolution and how wonderful it is.

25% of your posts, including your very first post on this forum are in the vein of, "you probably won't make it. I'm making it, but you probably can't." Or some other negative unhelpful shit.

25% of your posts are useful blackhat insight about software you use but not really educational in terms of HOW you use it except in rare instances when someone proposes a question in the medium to expert skill range. Nooby? You don't even bother.

25% of your posts are the usual forum fluff that everyone has including myself.

What's missing here is actual actionable information for noobies. You seem to have a zero tolerance policy for anyone who isn't YOU. You even proposed closing the forum to keep the riffraff away from "us."

So I'm going to stand by my claim that you need to shut the fuck up if you can't be helpful, especially to the new folks and refer back to your post in THIS thread, discounting all of your earlier "contributions" to the forum.

If you will point out the advice and suggestions in your post that are actually helpful, I'll apologize publicly for spanking you like I did.

I'm serious. Quote me your helpful advice from your post.

I'll save you the time. Here's what you "advised" and "suggested."

I can't see why you would bother. What could you possibly hope to sell except an Amazon book or a poster?

If you want to make money then find affiliate products first then make a site to exploit it.

You think this is helpful?

You think this offers anything worthy of the title "senior poster"?

Your advice is: find something to sell then sell it.

How does that help, Wombat?

Then you call ME a wanker?

I'm done with you Wombat. Respond or not, I don't care. I'm at least trying to help and I for one don't want this forum going in the direction this post is leading so I'm shutting the fuck up also. But here's a bit of advice, if you want a positive life, try to be a positive person. You strike me as very sad and angry in spite of your supposed success.

Peace,

scuba

I'm going to ignore the problem posts... anyways!!!

I knw some karate experts i'll talk to them and see if they have any adviceor items,to donate then i'll sell them or something!

These domains have Great potential... :)

If your not doing any projects on the domain, park it for now, look up on Nick Flames thread. Im sure you can earn couple of dollars even if you dont decide yet. Its best not to slunk on those domains, I PM'd Yah.

Alrigh,I Replied KingDom.

dude, if you are getting , decent visitors, then its better to park, you get good money from that.

Yeah,I will park them all after Christmas.

Unless I am completely wrong on this, Kase, you might want to seek legal advise before spending big money on these 2 domains.
A friend of mine owned some Elvis and Dolly Parton domains and they came after him with a vengeance.

He had to give them the domain names! NOTE: Not sell it. Give it to them.
Please check into Bruce's name and if he has a litigious estate, then you might want to take the low profile approach and park the domains. Do a few indexing tricks and let it sit there.

On the other hand, if you're not in any trademark violation, then develope and sell it. This has been pretty profitable for me in the past,

My 2 cents. Hope this helps.
Hoping to see you succeed with this
