Hi guys, I build over 100 web 2.0 pages last month, and pinged them all. However I checked my referring domains report and not even one of them showed up. Also, I checked all pages and they all have n/a pr.

I searched the URL on google so it did show up... why don't they show up on my domain report?

Pinging them all is pointless. Bang them all with a scrapebox blast or two.

And how much PR did you think they were going to have?

It really depends on the Web 2.0 site.. Sometimes I can have sites show up in index within minutes or hours. It really depends on the site.

I'm using well known domains. Does the fact that they don't show up on the referring domains list mean their backlink doesn't count?

bookmark them to around 10 different soical bookmarking sites, and submit rss feed. Wont hurt submitting with linklicious too.

Mine took 2 weeks to index and some are still not indexed i built around 25. Blogger squidoo, wordpress and hubpages index fastest for me

If you ping them, bookmark them to social bookmarking sites, and maybe even submit the rss feeds of the sites to rss directories, that may help index them quickly. Usually this is the case for me. It usually takes anywhere from 24 hours to a week to get sites indexed (for me anyway). Could take longer if you just let Google find them without doing any pinging, etc.

Anywhere from 24 hours- a few weeks depending on how you handle things. Rss feed them, ping them, blast them with scrapebox, and put them in a pastebin, post the pastebin link on Google plus and then +1 it with a few fake accounts and that usually does it for me within a few days.

This thread was dead for six months in case anyone cares to know. :)

I agree that it depends on the web 2.0 site. But mostly I heard that it takes weeks to show up this referring sites.

i have gotten Google to index 1of my site within 10mins :) it doesn't take that long if you know what you are doing :)

For good quality posting at web 2.0 sites probably it will be indexed in maximum 24 hours.
It depends on your quality of work.

Wanted to write the same. :)

Sadly most don't even care that they are talking to themselves and the thread owner probably got his web 2.0 sites indexed ummm 5 or 6 months ago. :) But it is kind of funny. Let's give them a pic to look at that may catch their attention so that they realize they are responding to a 6 month old thread. Talk-to-the-Hand-387.jpg

lol

It doesn't matter .. Threads dont just help the OP, but everyone else who reads them! With the guy bumping this thread, a few newbs could read this thread and learn something new, which they wouldn't have learnt because it was dug deep down in the forum!

I would blast everything to them with scrapebox. Most will be indexed within one day since they are popular sites and crawled quite often. Just a quick tip, I wouldn't go ahead and use links on the web 2.0s without a couple general posts put on them or else many will be deleted.
