do you mean bhw forums are slowly for you ? ... most probably it's something wrong with your connection . I`m with virginmedia @ 100mb package and the site it's loading pretty decent for me now . ( Of course sometime getting 503 error and the famous clickbank offer but I suppose it's just a kind of forced advertising from their part ) . Try and clean your cache / reboot your router ...

Agree with the OP, BHW is very slow in some moments.
Hostwinds should be ashamed for putting their banner in the footer, they suck.

While OP could have said it a little better, he is right. Several times per day I will visit the site and it will not load or if it loads, clicking on a thread link produces blank pages. Nothing wrong with my connection since all other sites I visit load correctly and quickly.
I know that BHW has been under attack at times and this could be the issue, but it is very annoying to say the least.

From the above comments, I can see that op stated a fact. I for one is experiencing the same slowness but decided to live with it rather than complain.

Hey guys that slowness has not gone unnoticed but everyone who is talking about the forum speeds here has obviously never run a website that gets DDOSed on a daily basis, generates hundreds of thousands of uniques a day, most of those people spending hours on the site. It's not the same as your little VPS or dedicated server. It is a completely different ball game, and with this come new challenges and problems, We work very hard to make BHW as fast and user friendly as possible, without compromising security.
We will be making some major improvements to to the forums this weekend that will solve many of these problems. The forums are also growing more and more popular, with user activity growing every week. We do our best to make this forum awesome for you guys. I do want to point out that before we took over the hosting BHW was on and off every few days due to DDOS attacks, now that we have taken over hosting, the uptime has dramatically increased, along with the forum activity.
I do appreciate you voicing your opinion and letting us know that you are having problems, but there is a big difference from voicing your opinion, and downright bitching and complaining. I appreciate constructive criticism, however your post came off as aggressive, and combative. I do appreciate your concerns and hopefully you will see the improvements we are constantly making to the site, to make it a better place for everyone.
Also just for the record I am not the one who neg repped you
