I wouldn't get too hung up on Craigslist here. The original post still has merit in terms of making you think about what you can do to make money from Amazon. There are plenty of other places you can drop aff links on without needing your own website, such as forum sigs, blogs, facebook, twitter and so on and so forth.

its because your using the same link in multi cities, you have to use a different one for each. try url shortener or a different product for each city..

So I was a COMPLETE idiot. I spent two days typing in shortened links...without a CL account. Soooo I was killing my traffic .

Don't think so. The only way I'm able to get these posts to submit is by stripping out the link to the (.) trick, but that kills it, essentially.

Got 38 clicks, 1 sale. The sale isn't from the product I linked and right now Amazon isn't showing any commission for it. Was a $149.99 item too. Hmm.. earnings report is for shipped items.. so I get commission when it ships?

This technique works. I had someone buy a $299.99 product. You have to wait until it ships before you see it in your earnings. I have still have about 7 products waiting to ship.

Yeah.. that was my newbie about Amazon post. Total stupid a big company like Amazon only updates once a day, then pays on a net 60 basis.

Having some success, 21 items shipped (not all from this method) only made $27 from those 21 items though lol.
