How many links per Web2.0 is 'safe'?

So I'm building Web2.0 to point to money site using varied anchor text..

At the moment I'm doing this per Web2.0 property:

1 link with varied anchor keyword text

1 link with 'click here' or something random

1 link with just the URL

So 3 links in total.

I'm not puttin this exact thing on every Web2.0, for some I may use:

2 links with varied anchor text and 1 random anchor text

or

2 links with random anchor and 1 with keyword anchor

But all Web2.0 properties have 3 links pointing to money site, is this too many links? What do you think?

I think it's important to keep it natural looking and not leave any kind of footprint, so vary the number of times you link as well. You may want to link 1-3 times in a post.

Personally, I'd stick to max. of doing 2 links; 1 to the money site, and 1 to a relevant authority site, e.g. CNN.

There is a rule called 'first link priority' which I think you need to take a look at.

the rule is that the FIRST link that Google sees on the page is that one it gives all the link-juice too. Google don't give much away, but FIRST LINK PRIORITY is something they do talk about on their webmaster blogs. Go check it out.

For example, if the first link (pointing to your money site) has the anchor text of your url, then the link with your correct anchor text is effectively pointless.

3 links really should be the max; but stick to 2 most of the time. As SEOWhizz says, you should vary the number of links as well.

But the main issue here is not having all links pointed continually to the same domains/pages. Once you start talking proper volumes, you'll be creating a glaring footprint if they all have 1 URL link to the same domain, and one keyword link to the same domain. Use different domains and keywords as part of any mass submission to reduce the footprint.

What are you doing with these sites - just writing a single article on them? I'm looking into this now and I'm thinking they probably need half a dozen posts, some with links, some without. This would look most natural to G. Then do a bit of backlinking to them.

Make sure you link to other "related" authority sites as well.

you can make various type of different links but it must be related to site and niche. I mean if it does not look natural then you may get penalty.
