UPDATE January 26, 2012: Google changed something again with their Google Keyword Tool that broke our software. If you're doing KW Expansion it'll time out for now but be rest assured, a fix will be issued in less than 24 hours like las time!

Clyde,

A couple of questions for you. I saw some mention proxies earlier in the thread (or was it another one I viewed earlier... lol) In either case, does UNF require proxies to function? If so, do you provide them or do we have to get them from others?

Is the filtering simple or can multiple filters be put in place? aka, can I just filter for 1000-2000 exact local matches or can I filter for 1000-2000 exact local matches with > .80 CPC that are considered 'easy' (green difficulty)?

It looks great and I'm sure I'll be buying within the next 2 weeks (got my taxes in - waiting for my refund).

Hi OldSalt,

It does require proxies to function.

You can use proxy finder such as Mattseh's Proxy Finder, Proxy Multiply, Proxy Goblin to scrape public proxies but I highly recommend you get private proxies from http://proxybonanza.com/signup/special_offer/ It's only $17/mo for a 68 IP's pack.

You can use multiple filters simultaneously, no problem.

Thank you! Looking forward to having you as a customer!

Clyde

My Review -

Just got a hold of this software... I cant praise this software enough! I'm Impressed! This saved me from SOOO MUCH WORK!! Damn...! Really impressed!

Its really really simple and does exactly what it claims! You really dont need all the fancy confusing shit MS and other softwares offer... K.I.S.S. and buy this software NOW!

thanks for this great apps clyde, I've just bought it. However, I have some suggestions (sorry if mentioned):
- find the keywords contain specific string or not (just like in GKT)
- number filter
- Click on the keyword to see the current serp (open in a browser)

Thanks

Hi folks,

I've bought this gem a couple of days ago, it runs smoothly, and handle long keyword lists like no other tool. UNF pulls keywords and data about competition, traffic, CPC at huge speed. MS' keyword research module is a joke compare to this.

Support is top notch, and the guys behind UNF are very dedicated - many upgrades.

* Feature I'd like to see
MajesticSEO.com integrated - display on demand how many EDU/GOV/TOTAL backlinks pointing to the page. Those data are given for free my majestic. Why not exploit them :)?

It'd be much more accurate than link: command.

Wow! This tool is amazing no more pulling your hair out over slow buggy MS. I have been just playing around with it the last couple of hours and I can say this is a must have for everyone.

Bought this software, let's see how it works. :biggthump

Thanks for the review and suggestions!

1. You can input this in the Keywords column filter, although it only works with words for now.
2. Number filter? You mean, number of keywords? I'll contemplate on it.
3. OK, will consider this.

Thanks for the awesome review man!

We don't use the link: command, our backlinks count actually come from a more reliable source, almost as good as Majestic SEO if not better, the reason why they appear "inaccurate" is listed below:

Why does the Avg. Links count appear to be inaccurate?
We use the median value instead of the actual average, so if the #1-#10 have 100+ backlinks, but #3 has 0 backlinks. It might show Avg. links as 0.

This is more accurate because it shows opportunity, a website ranking #3 with 0 backlinks means anybody can rank for that keyword and the other websites that are ranking right now are just ranking because Google couldn't find better sites.

Learn more about median here: http://www.wickedfire.com/redirect.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fanonym.to%2F%3Fhttp%3A%2F%2Fanonym.to%2F%3Fhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.mathsisfun.com%2Fmedian.html

Thanks again!

Awesome! I wanted a tool that's simple, fast and only do one thing but does it good. (bulk keyword research)

You're correct, no other tools do what we do as fast as we do. :)

Bought this software, let's see how it works. :biggthump

Reciprocal your iTrader, thanks man!

Clyde,

Thank's again, I feel like I'll make UNF cost back within 1 month only because of micro niche sites I've recently built :D

I was thinking of a couple of features that I'd happily welcome :

*ability to highlight some keywords (+ the whole line) on keyboard shortcut command for example
also highlight in a similar but brighter color every keywords we got after expanding the original highlighted keywords.

*multiple tabs or similar to manage multiple projects at once

Best regards, you guys rock!

Has anyone else seen high volume and very competitive keywords being shown with a very low difficulty level in UNF?
e.g., "penny stocks", ~30m results, showing 0 average backlinks and a difficulty of 1, or "technical software", with 1BILLION100m results, also having a difficulty of 1. I saw similar results a few more times, and this makes me doubt how much I can trust the competition checker.

Will talk to my programmer about your suggestions, thanks again!

Hi manolis, are you using non-US proxies?

That sometimes will give inaccurate results since the results shown by Google *might* be influenced by the proxy location.

I'm getting Difficulty as 60 for "penny stocks". I will implement some security measure to avoid your rare case from happening on Monday when my programmer return back from his days off.

Thank you!

Should I use the same adwords account that is linked to my adsense account? Could it possibly lead to it getting banned?

OMG! this is fast...

can you add feature to set delay?

this is powerful tool. just found 14 EMD with low competition and pretty decent searches.

:yeah:

Hi,

It's best if you create a new one specifically for UNF, it'll take you 5-10 seconds, it's a throwaway account so you don't have to use your real info if you don't want to.

Thanks for the review psytrance!

I already replied to your PM but I'll post it here as well so others will know, adding delays wouldn't make a difference since there are a bunch of other data providers that we query in addition to Google.

It's best if you just use more proxies.

Thanks for your purchase!

Will consider this!

Thanks for the suggestions!
