Hey man! Just to give you some motivation- I'm a 16 year old. I make about $10-25 a day currently. What I would recommend doing is to NOT GIVE UP AND STICK WITH WHAT YOU'RE DOING! I am dead ass serious! I, like most internet marketers, couldn't see ANY income come up withing the first week, so I change what I do. Little did I realize, is that IM takes time. As soon as I got a hold of that concept, I bought a domain name with the little ****** money I made with YouTube videos (I moved on from YouTube videos because piracy = a guilty feeling inside).
Anyways, I got some free hosting (000webhost) for about a month or so. Then that glorious, and horrific day came. I reached 1,000 views a day. 000webhost, being cheap, suspended my account. I felt devastated. I almost gave up forever. I'm glad I didn't.
Let's continue though. So anyways, since I put ****** link on my site too, and made money off of that. I decided to continue my site and migrate hosting to Hosting24, a cheap, shared host that does migrations from 000webhost for free. I also applied for Adsense. Adsense got approved. I made $8 that month. However, as soon as I hit the peak of 2,000 visitors on one weekend, Hosting24 gave me a big "f*ck you" and suspended me too. I couldn't cash out Adsense cause I only had $8, and I needed $100. I felt like quitting again. And as always, I'm glad I didn't quit.
I decided to move to Hostgator's baby plan, even though I didn't have enough funds to continue for more than 2 months. Downtime was massive, as in 3 days. Google lowered my SERPS. After about a week though, my SERPS returned, and I was back at an average of 1000,-1,500 visitors a day again. This time though, I made $60-70 that month via Adsense.
Hostgator was holding up surprisingly well, so nothing went on the next month. Then I made a total of $160-170 on Adsense. It was time. The check came. Now the problem was convincing my parents that the money was legit. I managed to convince them, and got a bank account joint with me and my father, so it wouldn't raise any attention.
Now, I made $200.00 in one MONTH, and it's continuing to rise! In fact, I made $300 so far this month! Hostgator was starting to get slow however, so I got a VPS. I migrated the hosts right under everyone's noses cause there was no downtime
. Now, I have a super fast site that gets 3-4k visitors a day and makes $15-25 a day, and it's constantly growing.
I'm not trying to brag, but the point is, is that I started off just like you. On the complete bottom. no funds, no startup money, and just ****** and YouTube. The only thing I had was determination. Look where it brought me now
Also, it took alot of time. I only worked for an hour a day due to schoolwork. What you just read happened over the course of 6-8 months. Hopefully you can improve upon me with better choices and essentially cut the time down!
