Google Place Review Order Nightmare!!!

I have a serious question. How do you go about burying a list of bad reviews on G Places when the reviews are listed from oldest to newest? I have located businesses with bad reviews, but even if I get them on a reputation management program, the bad reviews will still be listed on the top in the reviews section of their places page as the oldest (bad) reviews are still going to be listed top and up front? If anyone has any experience in this plz reply.

update: Must have been a fluke... all of the reviews were from the same month, and due to star listing, they seemed to rise about non star rated reviews. This is the only place I have seen this (specific industry). No other industry lists them in this way. It might be a BETA idea (very heavy industry with added interactive features added by the big G).

Had to do this for a client. This is truly the only whitehat way:

1. Commit to a Groupon/McDeal clone. Google Deals the best for this, since they have a Google account already.
2. Bust ass, kiss ass, lick ass for great customer service.
3. EVERY lead - give them a flier explaining how to leave a great comment on Google Places.
4. DURING the event, Fiverr some bogus drip reviews.
5. Click on every bad reviewers. They should have a G profile. Flag them.

Finally - every remaining bad review. Respond with a mea culpa. Channel Bill Clinton. Have the owner respond with specific "they were right. I was appalled. I had it fixed. Come in, mention the lousy review, and let us show you how we made it better. I'll split the tab with you as a thank-you."

Believe it or not, a site with a one-star review is getting more clicks than sites with five-star reviews. People want to read about the train wrecks. Have your responses ready ("Honestly - can any BBQ joint that PASSES a health inspection be any good?")

All great ideas. I even go as far as holding an "employee meeting" for the business to train the workers on getting the customers to leave reviews. I wish GP would allow for responses to bad reviews. I instructed to have the owner leave a review of his own, as a response. I kinda jumped the gun on this post, as I thought big G had reversed the review orders on me, but it turned out to be a fluke.

Never thought to use GDeals to push the reviews. I usually incorporate an offline offer with a custom good/bad review redirect site branded for the business. (extra $750) Working with hotels (my biggie) I usually try to sell them a laptop with an IP rotator for kiosk "review as you go" systems. (KDE KIOSK software is free) Its kind of cool to walk up to a hotel and see all of the reviews left by previous guests in front of you while you wait. (not that this is feasible for donut shops though). Only sold one, but just to have the option sets me apart as a reputation management expert with a little more than a promise of #1 on Google and a bunch of fake reviews.

I am starting to get more "mobile centric" in my review marketing to be put on door hangers for rooms. Use Qcode #1 because we stink, And use Qcode #2 to tell us how great we are.
