[NEW] Web2.0 Blog List Over 100 Updated

I have seen studies of people ranking on just nofollow links, some say it doesn't help, some say it does. I just get whatever high authority link I can, I care less about nofollow, but that's me.

Damn- you're right!- I see the nofollow tag in the source. Wonder why my seoquake extension doesn't put a line through it? Thanks for pointing this out.

Btw, you mentioned that it's still a good site- what's the value of a no follow site? Thanks again.

It depends on what you are using it for. For example, You create a blog with a Google site because you want that blog to appear high in the SERPs. You don't care if it passes juice or not. You just want to rank well.

So you build a few DF blogs and point them to that blog that is NF. Create an account at Yola which is nf 7. It is often easier to get a blog ,as one example, to rank better in the SERPs than a website. Push Yola, say on the first page. You will get traffic and your website will start climbing in the SERPs.

Registered to 51 of those websites. Will start posting content (mixed and spun) tomorrow and 1 day after that will edit posts and add links. I will report which properties got banned.

Btw freehostia doesn't allow to use their subdomain so i'd consider removing them from the list. And to login to salon.com you need to use facebook or gmail account which means that you will have to pass sms verification. And at dinstudio and typead i didn't find a free option to create a blog.

At dinstudio the option is there. I can't think of it off the top of my head, but I made a blog with it a couple days ago.

Typepad is tricky. I made a thread about how to sign up for a http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/358771-free-typepad-com-pr8-web2-0-micro-blog-because-its-not-obvious.html.

Thanks again for all the effort to update this list. Also looking forward tto peoples thoughts on which from the main list are worth sticking with? I have just employed someone to create these for me until I can get zenno up and running. I will be hoping to add new content to them everyday for a week then sign up for new accounts and start again.

Not sure if it f0ll0w or not
I was thinking about picky sites and found some people using tricks some tricks. Not sure if they work though :

Posting had unclickable url of their websites. Would that help?
How about linking images? Would it be helpful to link and image to the web 2.0 site? So instead of uploading a picture, I can link an image from my money site to the web 2.0? Will this work?

Thanks for the site will check it out, +rep. And by the way, yes being sneaky about posting to web2.0s is a good idea. In fact, coming up with some spins that make you sound like a 14 year old girl who texts all day, gossips and chonks on gum and this is your first blog you're soooo proud of, and waiting to slip links in until post 3 or 4 (obfuscated and with a few paragraphs about kissing boys before it) works well.

getjealous.com doesn't allow linking anymore as well
We apologise for the inconvenience but due to spammers abusing the site, links can only be added by premium members.

hey mate, I think you missed ones I shared above.

They're not web2.0s. They barely even qualify as blogs you can spam with comments. From the "thomhartmann.com" site:

Sorry you have had problems with one of your posts being treated as spam. It is in fact the word ugglesome that causes problems. We have been badly spammed by people selling Ugg boots, or imitations thereof, so we have a test in for " ugg".

Not only can't you post blog posts there, you can't even make a comment if it has the word "Ugg" in it.

I'm looking for websites you can make a blog on, like wordpress.com, blogger.com or any other site in the list ... not AA blogs that people spam with scrapebox.

Hey PHPbuilt, do I have to make a custom script type of thing for XML-RPC to post on sites that support xml-rpc ?

I am getting pingback from the web 2.0 postings I made. What does it mean? what should I do with these pingbacks should I delete or approve them?

I think you mean trackbacks?

Basically, there's this feature of blogging where if someone links to you, you get a notification and the ability to link back to them if you feel like it.

Well, in this case (the web2.0s you are making), the person linking to you, is you. You are the one generating links to your site, and your wordpress software is responding by telling you someone (you) linked to you and giving you the option to link back.

You should just delete them, authorizing them would only put outgoing links on your website to benefit your web2.0s (which should be the other way around, web2.0s should benefit your site).
