Seems like most of the filesharing sites are down...some streaming sites also. Novamov is "under maintenance". Its just my luck, I've only bought the software

I know, but to make a movie site you need to embedd a link to the actual movie. Megavideo is down...etc.

I have a twist but its based on deception...would like to find offshore (russian maybe) alternative to megavideo and similar sites

Nice strategy.

Any reason why you upload only 40-45 videos per day? Why not scale it up a bit and use 2 proxies for the day to get to 100 vids uploaded every day? Essentially you would do your procedure twice. It wouldn't take much more time of your hands, but you could potentially earn twice as much. I'd love to hear your comment.

I am a SQL Server DBA Full time during the day and only have time in the evenings for my IM activities. To your point, there is nothing wrong with doubling the effort other than contiguous time spent each day. I also maintain quite a few other revenue streams that require juggling and I am not yet at a point to afford to hire a Virtual Assistant.

I may also be putting things on hold soon if Novamov doesn't come back online. My guess is a lot of the video sites are "SOPA-Shy" right now and are waiting to see what happens.

Back to your original question, however, I do think doubling the effort would work fine.

Novamov is working fine for me .

About scaling up... not always scaling is the way to go as I prefer to test the waters for a while and after I have enough experience I will go and scale everything up

Do you guys do any offsite optimization for your videos? What I mean is getting views, favorites, likes.

I mean there's no point in uploading 50, 100, 1000 videos a day if nobody watches and clicks on them.

Do your videos rank in top3 in youtube search? How do you guys get your videos noticed? Assigning vagex credits to each of the videos would burn through the credits supply quite quickly.

Just an update, Novamov seems to be working fine for me too.

Still on a neverending quest to find the best way to get views in bulk though. Social Bookmarking helps, but it does take a while.

@Renwo: The number of videos is not relevant because you can have 1000 videos and no video is ranked and you will get a big 0 in uvs.
