Actual PR5+ Do-follow URLS - How Powerful?

Hey guys,

I have got a strategy for finding high PR 5+ urls (using scrapebox, hrefer and a crapload of proxies). After about 2-3 hours of going through my harvested list, i tend to find about 5-8 PR5+ (sometimes even PR6 or PR 7) do-follow links that I can leave my anchor text. These links almost always have under 5x OBL.

Since an extremely long amount of time is being spent finding these, I just wanted to get some idea on their value. If I spammed 1000x PR0 links, 300x PR1 links, 400x PR2 links, would that boost my keyword more then 10x PR5 page (not just domain) do-follow links (this is just a random example)

I do know that PR is not the only off-page SEO factor and there are things like age, IP diversity, etc. But just how powerful are these links?

They are mostly blog comments and forum signature links. Either way, the anchored link lands directly on the page with PR5+

Most of the time PR 5 links are better, but you have to take in consideration, that it might not be the actua PageRank.

Think off it like this:
On a PR Update, the newest blog post's get the highest PR, because they are best interlinked. Now a couple of days later they may drop of, and don't get anymore all that link juice coming from the main page. But the PR is not updated.

So if your links are well interlinked from the main page, they are worth it.

Otherwise, if you can see that the PR5 links get other links pointing exactly to THAT page, it's even better.

This is why links from domain's frontpage are most worth, because they have PR out of the other links, pointing directly to that specific URL.

Awesome, thanks for that explanation. I actually filter my search results to only show results from 4+ years ago. That way the PR of the page where my comment/etc is going is highly unlikely to change.

Of course. These URLs are genuine PR 5+ and all do follow.

Neither blog comments, Homepage links or blogposts "do a whole lot" individually

I have seen absolutely no difference between a blog comment and a homepage link in effectiveness on the same PR page (on weak keywords I used to test such a thing)
