Just saw the few moments ago, as it's on the first page of YT. Pretty interesting, actually this should understand the ones who can approve it, that SOPA, PIPA can't fuck the whole Internet world just like that. Eventually people will revolt against it, if it will pass. But it won't happen.

1) They can f**k off trying to do anyone in the UK under US law - this has nothing to do with the US.
2) They don't have enough cells to imprison everyone. Bring it.
I'm not one of the unlucky ones but I feel for those who may be in danger. If everyone rebels then we're laughing. But who has the balls? I'm angry.

No one is going to come after you for having an account on megaupload.
The feds feel megaupload was the head of the dragon.... and it has been cut.
The worse that will happen is that the top contributors of pirated material on megaupload (by their payments) will be contacted...... might turn states evidence and sink megaupload even further.

The situation with the U.K. guy is totally different then Megaupload situation. From what I understand,he was not using any servers located in America,and shouldn't be subjected to U.S. law. If that was the case then he will most likely be found not guilty in court,and this will set a precedent so that this would not happen again. The Megaupload guys were operating hundreds of servers in the U.S.,which did fall under U.S. Jurisdiction.
I'm not sure about just having a .com is enough to be under U.S. jurisdiction other then that it can be seized after a court order.

And you're getting your information from where? The US run the UK as much as I run Australia. Not at all.
Maybe try not saying such ridiculous things. The US are bring power-whores and think they can run smaller countries based on size. I don't mean to offend US citizens but honestly there's no one that can explain how the US are allowed to even think about arresting the TVShack guy - there was no link to the US in the slightest. The megaupload thing I can understand with the servers so it's possible.

That guy in the video really doesn't know anything about law at all,at doesn't make any attempts to even make common sense. The DOJ goes after the top guys in situation likes this. It would take way to long to try each person that downloaded or uploaded to megauploaded.

The video is horrible, Children cannot be executed in the United States,and execution is only reserved for adults that committed murder. Not even Rape gets a person the death penalty. Even if someone commited murder at under 18 when they become an adult they can't be executed.
And what kind of moron,would think the Government is going to spend decades going to court over small issues,when they got the guys they wanted.

Roper v. Simmons was the ruling that in 2005 declared death penalty for people under 18 unconstitutional. Prior to 2005 there were 3 states (Oklahoma, Texas, and Virginia) that had executed minors in past 10 years.
The ruling was 5-4 though, so it's not like there isn't a possibility of it being overturned down the road.

This is incorrect, you can get death penalty for a whole bunch of things besides murder.
Before 2008 (Kennedy v. Louisiana):
Rape of a Child
Treason (Arkansas, Calif., Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Washington)
Aggravated kidnapping (Co., Idaho, Il., Missouri, Mont.)
Drug trafficking (Fl., Missouri)
Aircraft hijacking (Ga., Mo.)
Placing a bomb near a bus terminal (Mo.)
Espionage (New Mexico)
Aggravated assault by incarcerated, persistent felons, or murderers (Mont.)"
In 2008 Supreme Court ruled in Kennedy v. Louisiana that death penalty for rape of a child unconstitutional. However it left the door open to death penalty for treason against the state + some other things with this wording: "Our concern here is limited to crimes against individual persons. We do not address, for example, crimes defining and punishing treason, espionage, terrorism, and drug kingpin activity, which are offenses against the State."
So raping a child? You'll be fine. But sell drugs or commit espionage or treason? Your ass might get fried.
