Does anyone have a Firefox add-on which lets them use more than one proxy at the same time in multiple windows.

I have been using an add-on called "Proxy Tool" which is great but I can only use one proxy at a time across all windows....

Hmm.. Never ever seen anything like that.

One thing that I can think of is to install dupes of the Firefox (eg, different versions) and install Proxy Tool in each one. This will get you what you want.

That's a pain in the ass now.

Installing different versions just aint going to work sadly as I want to run at least 10 instances. :ballchain

Did you try opening multiple instances? Try using different proxy add-on on every instance (3-5), install 2 versions with 3-5 different proxy add-ons for 6-10 different proxies?

Such a Add-on is technically not possible. It would require to change the host a request connects to, you can't do that within a extension.

But you can use profiles: start your firefox with "firefox -p" (which starts the profile manager) and create one profile for each proxy. Then make a shortcut for each profile with "firefox -p profile_name".

I know it is very painful working in need of several ip (proxy) at a time. In fact, I just follow a tactic - it is installing several browsers like mozila, cometbird, flock (all are same as firefox) , internet explorer, safari, opera and so on and I used to keep a excel sheet where I kept the information which ip is defined for wich browser and also I made classified tasks for the each browser too.

u can use same version of firefox each independently.
first create firefox desktop icon as many u want then create firefox profile as many u created desktop icon.
then right click in icon>properties>shortcut>then put this in target

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox 4.0.1\firefox.exe" -P "profile name" -no-remote

There is a plugin which is able to open a new instance inside firefox it self.

But first i forgot the addon's name.

And secondly, it wasn't quite stable :/.

TO sum up, i'm posting a really useless post :D

One way to do this is to use:

Multple Firefox Profiles:

Having multiple firefox profiles means multiple proxies as you can set a unique proxy for each profile.

1. Setting up Multple Profiles:

Code:
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/internet/firefox/use-multiple-firefox-profiles-at-the-same-time/

2. Set a proxy for each profile using a firefox add-on:
Code:

Code:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/foxyproxy-standard/

3. Use the 'profile switcher' firefox add-on to quickly launch each profile (each with a unique proxy):
Code:

Good luck!
