Ok, I've found a KW I think I'd like to make my first MNS, here's some stats

Exact Global Monthly Searches: 320
CPC: 5.28
Pages in google: 17
inurl: 1,000
intitle: 1,000
intitle + inurl: 175
Market Samurai analysis:
i0GVl

EMD.com is available and first rank is yahoo answers.

I'm wondering if 320 is going to be too few searches per month to make any money. How much do you think I'd get per click on adsense if the adwords cost is 5.28?

My other option is to make the EMD.blogspot.com and see how that goes since all I'm out is the time it takes for me to write some articles.

320? How about in the US?

If that term is only 320 a month.. Divide it by 30 its only 10 search term daily..

If you rank number #1 on that term expect 60-70% traffic..

So your site can receive 6 - 10 visitors a day..

I would personally recommend local or global beyond 1k+

Local is only 170, I was wondering if I should do it mainly based on the CPC. I was searching for keywords and this one had the EMD.com available, relatively low competition, and a high CPC so I was considering it. If it had over 1,000 searches per month with all else equal I'd be on it in a heartbeat.

Its not worth it! 300 visits a month and CTR lets assume 5% which is pretty high and CPC 2$ then you'd get 30$ out of it!
However 320 searches does not mean that you would get all the visitors on your site even if you are ranking at the top spot #1!

Low competition of what? Adwords?

I was referring to the Market Samurai, none of the websites in the top 10 have their pages optimized for the kw and the results are random pages from very large sites and a yahoo answers.

Edit: I get what you're saying about the low traffic, it's probably not worth it. Since I've gathered you all here I might as well ask what a good exact searches and CPC would be, >1000 and >$1? If so then I'll not waste anymore time looking at anything less than that.
