Have you tried Magneto from magentocommerce.com ?

Check it out...we have several clients who use it and it seems to be really good.

+1 for Magento - just make sure you get a decent hosting and you'll love it :)

do you mean cms with chart? I use prestashop. It's free and i love it.

Prestashop was great in the early 2000's, theres a reason why all the big fish use Magento these days. Drop-down menus, mobile sites, etc. all baked in from the get go. Prestashop has none of those things. Also, Presta's code is very archaic and, therefore, limiting. They still use Smarty templating if memory serves. Magento has none of these limitations and is extremely expandable. The only one thing I would warn, though, is that Magento uses Prototype JS framework. Not a big deal, but JQuery and other libraries can become disruptive if implemented.

I believe the new versions of Presta are re-written from scratch, the backend is certainly a massive step up from something like OSCommerce which is massively outdated but still useable.

I don't think Presta uses smarty anymore either.

My vote also to Magento... awesome cart.

I have also used X-Cart and CS-Cart as well.. X-Cart kinda demands you have good knowledge with Smarty Templates, if you want any major template changes withing your site. That was the only downfall with X-Cart for me. Also if you go with Magento, make sure your host will support it before hand.
