WHat's the best tool for checking backlinks?

It seems like every service I use has completely different results.

Traffic Travis reports my competitor has having 125,000 backlinks, but online services report it as having zero.

Is there a program or service I can use that definitively shows a websites backlink count?

I use majesticseo.com but its expensive and they limit the number of queries you can do per hour, but IMO its the best.

Ahrefs.com are pretty good too.

These services must have been rubbing their hands together when yahoo explorer died.

You will not find a service that "definitively" shows all links, but those are good enough.

I am using majestic seo and hrefer to check my links and backlinks

I use all 4 of these to get an more accurate result since none of them our 100% accurate.

Use Link Diagnosis it's free (you need to register) and gives you SEOMoz data as well as Page Rank. I believe it only uses SEOMoz Linkscape data and adds Page Rank to it.

No program shows you the exact no of back links. You have to use multiple softwares to get a complete back link profile.

The best ones there are majesticseo, seomoz, a href, sep spyglass.

Scrapebox can check backlinks too. Seo Spyglass is very good in my opinion.
