First i thought it was fake PR because its Alexa rank is XXXXXXX but i checked and confirmed its Real. How does it happening. Personally i don't really understand. Can someone please let me know how come this happened . What can i do with this? Whats the average i can earn with that one.

Thanks in advance

Is this a site you own? How did you come about Stats?

What tool did you use to check that?

It's most likely forged.
But I have a couple of PR3 and PR2 sites with no backlinks whatsoever...

How is the quality of the content? Is this one considered an authority site? The answer to those two questions might shed some light on the PR.

Search the site on Google and then click to check the cached history and most prob it was redirecting elsewhere to pick up PR which is not real.

You would need to share the domain name for members to do a thorough test to be certain, but there are alot of fake PRs out there.

This is most probably due to a 301 redirect.

People buy domains, set a 301 redirect to gov/edu sites, and wait for a PR update. On the next update, their PR is upgraded to high numbers, after which they flip the domains/sites.

This was being done by an Indonesian group, who raked in thousands by simple redirects.

@Bestmate, He chached is OK and this not redirecting at all. I can see that clearly and i think its genuine.

Also checked via http://www.rankchecker.com/pagerank-checker and Still found its OK . its Valid PR ( Not Fake)

What can i do with that?

You didn't shed some light at the content of the site,

Is it unqiue and quality content?
Or is the site an authority site?

PR Sometimes depends on these two things too.

Not saying it is redirecting now. It WAS redirecting somewhere else probably as the Matrix explained. If so, it will lose the page rank in the next update.

I think the PR7 rank is given manually by google, so it doesn't actually need backlinks, but either way it need to be a badass website.

Google is not spreading PR for dumb web owners ,
They only provide PR to sites which has some quality backlinks and contents

BTW for OP request its a simple 301 redirect

i think is from fake pr7- pr 9
and it become real

check web archive

I have one website with PR4. That site has only 1 backlink and it ranks at position 8 in SERP with medium competition for that keyword. Google is one big mistery

Stop checking here and there with those tools. The best tool to check Google PR is the Google toolbar because PR is a google thing so Google is best to check for Google PR. Did I mention Google?

checked at Google before but someone told me to Check if its fake or Not. So i checked via Google with info:domain.com and founds its OK. and the above website also claiming they can check fake PR . I cared to check it out.

PR is fake. PR checkers won't see it. info: won't see it.
Sometimes there is no footprint, sometimes there is.
Some dickhead on WF was trying to sell blog posts on his PR8:
www.istediginkod.com
If you go to opensiteexplorer.org and put the domain in without www you can see it was redirected to inbox.net.
Sometimes you can see in archive.org it was redirected.
Sometimes you can find sites that have cached it when it was redirected.
All in all, I'd use opensiteexplorer.org to value a site, not PR.

Thanks @Jon_xx_x i am understanding more about those and founds its not as easy as this three words to say S.E.O.

Check the domain authority on opensitexplorer, I bet it's in the low 20s, right? A real PR7 would be much higher than that and should have TONS of backlinks.

Uhhhh I think I've been duped by this same site, ABOVE POST in which you are speaking, but now it's a page rank 8. They are on fiverr selling articles for $5. He posted a great contextual link of which is like a blog post with it's own html linking off the main domain.

I did my homework and used my alexa toolbar, it said pr8

I do not understand how the site ranks at a page rank 8, at first I thought he copied the PR8 button. I am not an SEO expert but the first thing I did was go to alexa and he has 35+? sites linking in. All of which seem to be pr1-pr3 and some in other languages.

How is this ranking in my toolbar as an 8?

Can someone please explain. :(
