I know this thread might not be real productive, but I think people should know that these guys that own the best spinner fucked up the level of their support.

I have been trying to get someone to pay me some attention for whole day...and my TBS stopped working all of a sudden.

My tickets have been unanswered for like a whole day...grrr! I lost a whole day at my office.

I even bought a copy of spinnerchief as a result of my anger. Problem is that that piece of shit also doesnt work until your order is authorized manually. Gets some error messages in poor English..when you try to login with a newly bought copy.

So for all the people asking SC vs TBS? I'd say no matter how good a software is..poor support can ruin it all. So far TBS has been completely fucked up as far as support goes.

Will give SC a shot.

Have you tried asking your questions in the TBS forums? lots of helpful people in there..

Yeah direct support is a pain but they'll eventually answer...

Im sure they cant help.

All of a sudden my password was told to be "wrong" and even the password reset doesnt work.

I have a validly paid license and I am sure its some kind of tech glitch.

It's funny... From my limited contact with Jon Leger (dev for TBS), I've got nothing but nice things to say. I forgot to cancel my trial, and my PayPal was charged $77... so I emailed him letting him know about my mistake, and he refunded the transaction.

Don't know about you? But that's pretty damn honest.

hundreds of reasons why he might not be answering you... how long as your ticket been open?

I have been using TBS for 1.5 years. Have 2 licenses. Every time I needed support I got it like 15 hours later or so.

My ticketS have been open for more than 8-9 hours now. Nobody still bothers to respond.

The reason why Jon Leger was so nice to you is because like with any experienced online vendor he knows he can not win a paypal dispute for intangible digital service. Paypal's policy is always on the buyer side for intangible products/services.

In addition I don't see anything nice in the fact that he did not refuse to give you your money for a product which you have no intention of using. Otherwise it would be theft.

Maybe when you decide to use TBS and be an active member you can get a better idea of the level of support which these guys offer.

You could always try SpinChimp ;) We pride ourselves on support and most of our users come from the competition, and stay.

But, given that I co-authored it, my opinion could be swayed :P

The last time I had a problem with TBS and sent them a mail about it.. It was an hour later

:liar:

Jon leger is a scammer. I got niche hoard and paid for a full year's worth. I wanted to make sure that I did not renew accidentally so I canceled through paypal. He locked me out of my account and after numerous emails he wouldn't let me back in. He's a Fucking douche bag and probably goes around under names at sites like IMreport card and stuff saying how "great" he is to protect his reputation, but if he wasn't such a dumbass with such terrible support he wouldn't need to do this bullshit.

Then he had the nerve to say "I can't let you in, but for a discount I can sign you up to the yearly membership." Fuck that I already paid for a year's worth and he fucking robbed me of it, now he wants more money?

It took them about 15 hours to fix/respond for me the other day. I wasn't pissed but I wasn't loosing money cause of it either I suppose

The software doesn't work for me. They say it's my firewall, but I can download the latest synonyms and log in, just can't spin once I've done so. I am requesting my money back.

I stop using TBS because i found something better, but while i was using it i never had any problem.

I bought TBS a few weeks ago. I haven't had any problem with the product itself, but.....

I bought it using a unique email address, such as [email protected]. I do this a lot so I can track where people have got my email address from if I receive unsolicited emails. In this case, within 24 hours of buying TBS that address started getting bombarded with spam. And I don't just mean some e-newsletter from TBS or something. I mean full on viagra/porn spam from forged email addresses. Since the email address had only been created 24 hours ago and had only been used to order TBS I can only assume they sell their customer email list to spammers.

Anyone else had that happen?

I do like the actual product though. Everything seems to work fine.

You should post this in their own support forum (of course if you have not already done that)...Chances of your getting a helpful response will be a lot higher than posting here ...

Also as a lot of people have said above , they are really helpful ,else their would not be support forum dedicated for it..

SC only took me a few hours to get activated which was ok for me but the programs is great. I just picked it up a few days ago.

Yep, Support is still absolutely shite. Been trying to get a response for a few days. AVOID.

Shame as I like the software. I'll let Paypal deal with the joker...
