Need Help Monetizing Tumblr

I started on Tumblr a couple days ago and don't plan monetizing it yet, but since you can schedule posts I could see it as a decent source of set and forget traffic in the future. Do you think AdBrite would work with this because it has a lot of pay per impression ads? How should I monetize it?

both adbrite and chitika are working good. These are best alternatives for adsense. I don't think tumblr is set and forget type unless you automate link building as well. Even in wordpress we can schedule the blog posts.

Also infolinks is good way to go...

I thought AdBrite would be a good idea since it's mainly CPM ads. Where do you put your ads? One for a header and one on the sidebar?

There was a thread on here a few days ago with a good method to monetise tumblr, it involved putting a cloaked affiliate link in the click through box on your post, works great on pictures. Even better if your blog is in a niche and you can find a product to match, i'm trying this out as we speak

Here we go, this is the thread from a few days ago, i've twisted mine a little bit to get a higher return but this should definitely be enough to get you started.

Spoonfed method for noobs
