lol, just closing the comments.. no? :)

Sure, you can do that too. Personally I find that Akismet needs less fiddling. I'm a lazy fuck, so saving two-three clicks is important to me. :laugh:

hahah.. i know what you mean, just installed this stupid thing and im thinking on the work i have to do and i only want to grab a beer and shutdown this pc..

but, akismet is monthly fee isnt it? or its free now?

=>Akismet
=>Date Exclusion SEO
=>Google XML Sitemaps
=>WordPress SEO
=>WP No Category Base

I always install these. And depending on the requirement, some others.

wordpress seo is better then all in one seo ?
and about easy wp seo? any opinions?

In my opinion it's definitely better. I've used both of them, and Wordpress SEO by Yoast has features like calculating Keyword Density, Calculating the flesch reading score, and a couple others.

Akismet is not a monthly fee. When you are taken to their page the default is set to donate. Just move this down to $0 and continue the process

Heres are my most important Plugins, no particular order and not all are appropriate for all sites.

yoast SEO (includes xml site map), seo-automatic links, seo-image, w3 total cache, wp db manager, no category base.

I Hope that helps!

what seo-automatic links is using for? w3 total cache its like WP Super Cache?

It helps with internal linking, you can select which words to automatically link and their destination.

Total cache has same principles as super cache but does work in different ways. For me total cache is the better performer but i like to tweak things. Super Cache maybe a better alternative out the box.
