I appreciate the opportunity to answer your question. The program you are referring to is SEO SpyGlass. You may see our table of reviews of iBacklinkPRO vs the "competition" on our homepage. To put it simply, although Link Assistant has a great marketing of their product, boasting huge numbers, here are the results after our tests. 1) SpyGlass consistently found a small percentage of the links that iBacklinkPRO found. 2) It is very slow. To analyze 1,000 links SpyGlass took over 30 minutes. iBacklinkPRO uses proprietary methods that allow us to analyze 10,000 backlinks in about 5 minutes. 3) In our tests with the program, our computer IP got banned in Google, so that we could not properly use their program or even view any PR of any website in our browser. I believe the ban lasted almost 24 hours and this is after our 1st url scanned... the 2nd url we scanned already had missing data for PR...

Based on some of our questions, here is one of the ways to get good urls to analyze with iBacklinkPRO:

1) Start by using iBacklinkPRO to analyze your direct comptetitors in Google and other SE's ... so say your main keyword is 'weight loss' you would start by using iBacklinkPRO to analyze the top 10 or 20 (or more) sites that the search engines have for the keyword 'weight loss'

2) Do the same thing as above but for related keywords... so in the above example, we would use 'diet', 'weight reduction', 'losing weight', etc

3) Find other, generally related industries and analyze the top 10-20 results for popular keywords in those niches... so continuing to use our previous example, we can use niches like, 'Tea Tree Oil', 'HGH', 'Supplements & Vitamin', Other ailments ('Asthma', 'Diabetes', 'Depression')

4) At this point your site should have a huge amount of very high quality backlinks. To continue growing those backlinks, start analyzing sites outside of your general industry... you can go to video games, cars, electronics, etc, etc, etc

I was impressed with the free demo account so I bought with the bhw1st20 discount for some full scans

for one site I got a few no-f PR4 links and some PR2-3 do-f for other sites

I have got a review copy of the service and here goes my review.

It's just simply AWESOME. iBacklinkPRO does Exactly what is being advertised here. I know competitor research is tough enough but the service made it like a little game. It pulls all your competitors backlink history and the main thing is you can sort them up to find the great backlinks for you.

The pertinent data of the backlinks will help you to search for your targeted source of backlinks. See what the competitors are targeting in terms of market and keyword, all in few minutes.

The tool is going to change the way you are doing your competitor research and research for backlink sources.

I am grabbing it before my competitors grab it to find my backlinks ;)

Thanks for your review rzaman. Even though iBacklinkPRO was designed to find quality backlinks, a nice side effect is, as you mentioned, it provides some nice in depth views of your competitor's strategy.

i am very interested in this. i tried the demo but i stopped it after 1hour i didn't get any links just the loadingbar is that normal that it takes so long?

cocaco, our engineers are working on the option to allow the possibility of scanning for links to individual pages of a site not just the domain, which may be available very soon. As far as the issue that you experienced, it has been corrected and you may proceed to analyze your url. I apologize for the inconvenience. A demo run usually takes around 30 seconds.

The option to analyze specific pages is now live!!!

What does that mean?

Prior to this update, iBacklinkPRO analyzed and gathered backlinks for a domain, ie www.domain.com

Now, it is able to analyze and gather backlinks not only for a domain but also for a specific page, ie www.domain.com/page.html

This is especially helpful when analyzing larger sites or when site owners choose to promote a specific page of their site.

Enjoy!

Will take a Jr. VIP review copy if available, PM me.

All of the review copies have been handed out, hurry up and grab a promo deal at $4.99 before those run out too.

Hi,
I'd like to be able to remove Alexa rank from reports. It's absolutely useless.
Also 'refresh' button is missing. In my first run there were too many PRs with 'Unanalyzed' or
'Inaccessible' status.

I tried one of my main competitors:

1,163 backlinks analyzed producing 122 high quality backlinks in 0 minutes, 50 seconds.
I doubt it accuracy as I know this guys have more then 8000 live links.
But anyway it's a very useful tool.
