Go San Francisco 49ers!

there is really no #1 team. everyone likes packers but they have the worst defensive in the league

HA! Manning always looks like that; everyone knows he has B.O.

This will be Eli Manning tomorrow

49er for life.... hahahah best game i have EVER seen hands down.. dont be mad you saints fans you got out played.

17 to 0 right now. Kicking Drew Brees ass right now!

Congrats man - You know when the season first began, I figured (like most) the SF was just a fluke but after seeing them play (I'm on the other coast) I was a believer. Perhaps this is the start of the 49er' return to glory.

Can't wait to see the 49ers come into Lambeau. :sly: It'll be a great game.

Looking good for the 49ers but I don't think they can beat the Packers. However, if the Saints had won, I'm convinced they could of beat the Packers.

I'm trying my best to reserve my comments for this game until Tebow gets his 4th quarter surge of football talent, but this one is over. As my cousin put it earlier today, "...watching God's chosen quarterback on TV. I hope Tim Tebow is taking notes." Brady is scary (Understatement of the year).

Oh man my voice is gone. That catch was just like the catch TO had from Steve Young against the packers years ago. It's been way too long since my Niners have been in the playoffs, much less the NFC championship. Someone said that you saw Alex Smith grow up tonight, you also saw Vernon Davis grow up. I gained a lot of respect for the man when i saw him walking off the field crying. That shows you how much it truly means to him. It's moments like that, that should make the fans of the Giants or the Packers nervous. You can tell that the Niners WANT IT BAD, they are hungry! Thank you Jim Harbaugh, you have been a miracle for the Niners this year. Congrats Alex Smith, Vernon Davis, Patrick Willis and Frank Gore. You guys have played your arses off and you finally all got your first playoff win. Congrats to everyone else that made that game happen, especially the Niners backfield. Wow, I can't say enough. This team is special. You can see by my name I am more of a college basketball fan, but the Niners have had such a great year, my focus is still on football. Usually by week 10-11 we are saying, "well it's still mathematically possible for the Niners to make the playoffs" which as we all know means were not making the playoffs. GO SAN FRAN, your next NFC CHAMPS!

It's funny you say that man. Just about everyone said that about the Saints against the Niners. Never underestimate a great defense. Alex Smith is going to have a lot of confidence going into the championship game. But if I were you, I would be focusing on beating the Giants first. They seem to have your number. Don't you remember the score being 33-30? Hair of thier chinny chin chin.

I know this is a third post in a row, but I had to comment on this while we were on the sports topic. How bout them tar heels? Hahahahahahahaha. Such a beautiful day in the sports world!

I was rooting for Breesus and the Saints, I can't believe how many turn-overs they suffered. Even with all of them I thought they could of pulled a win off. Oh well :(

Born and raised in SF. Great day for me. Got kind of scared towards the end of the game

Credit the Niners, that's how they have been winning all year. They have not had an explosive offense, they rely on turning the ball over. Niners had the fewest turnovers than any other team, and forced the most than any other team. That is a winning combination. And tonight they were able to accomplish the turnovers and some pretty nice offense!

if we play the packers i think it will be tough, rodgers grew up a niners fan and was projected to be the first round draft pick... niners had the first pick and they went for alex smith instead. aaron rodgers fell to 24th in the draft. he's going to be on a mission but thankfully our defense is our strong point. our offense was terrible against the saints at one point we were 2-13 on third down conversions then we stepped it up toward the end of the game thank god. we really dodged a bullet if the packers wouldn't have dropped the kick return that we recovered I think we would have lost.

two more games to go guys lets make this another 1996.

I take everything back I have ever said about Alex Smith lol
