I bought 1,000 domains earlier last year ( mostly .info's but some .coms) to test out a project which turned ok, but nothing long term so I dropped the hosting and parked them over at bodis.. currently making just $20-$50 per month so nothing to get excited about...

SO, these will start expiring in about 3-4 months time and unless they start paying for themselves I'm just going to let them expire. UNLESS anyone has suggestions for how these could be monitized or traffic boosted to the parking pages (without being banned from bodis)??

Thanks all

Find an unlimited hosting deal and build minisites based on keywords from each domain name.

That, or sell them :S

you invested in 1k domains without a plan ? :|

nope, i DID have a plan, it worked, but the game is over... they were all thin EPN sites, but the panda update hit them all and the traffic dived to near zero.

1000 MNS sites:)

Ah right of course, doh.

I don't think any of them have PR, or at least I would be surprised if they did

How much did you pay for these 1,000 domains? must of taken a while to buy them all.
I do not believe you have 1,000 domains parked either, post some proof.

umm.. not sure I really need to show proof of anything, I'm not selling anything to anybody or making any claims, just looking for suggestions as to what to do with them..

My question would be why on earth is it such a big deal to have 1,000 domains anyway, check Godaddy for the $ of a .info. Easy to paste in a big list of 200 domains and bingo, not that difficult!

So panda hit them all because they were all shitty and on the same IP or what?

Very shitty :) they all pretty much had the same wp template, content pulled from ebay listings using phpbay.. worked very nicely for a few months wish I'd gotten into it sooner.. hey ho.

The best bet would be to let them expire (except for those which are making enough parking revenue) and invest your time, energy and money in some better project.

I think id go with this one:) Keep the top ten money makers, then calculate what it would have cost you in renewals, hosting and time, then invest that into a new structured and planned project.

Yea man, think everything as a business analyst. With numbers and all,to make sure you succeedd.
