Hello,

I am looking to buy Jonathan Leger's Article builder but would like to know what members here think about it.

Is it worth the price?

What is your personal experience?

Is there any good alternative?

Can we purchase it with partnership?

Thanks & Regards

Hi,
I've taken a close look at the guys stuff but at the end of the day I didn't buy automatic content generation with this level of software is pretty bad and there is a risk of some duplication IMO with a lot of people using it exactly as you would, i.e. trying to get the most with minimal (or no) work at all.

I believe it's important to have a good story to start off with then spin it

When I write for clients - and I have no idea about the topic (it happens a lot) then IAW comes in handy for research.

If I have a long term client I use this and grab some RSS feeds into an RSS reader and spend 10 minutes scanning through the results for topics.

I can then write 650 words (speech to text) in ten minutes, spin in ten minutes and inside 30 minutes be submitting relatively decent quality stuff that comes from a 100% original source (the article I write before I spin it) in half an hour

There are lots of other things you can use it for;

  • Grabbing comments (just take the sentances and use them as comments in scrapebox)
  • Queuing up twitter comments.
  • Finding MEME's REAL quick with the Google News scraper (sometimes getting in early is the best thing you can do)
Hell - there are quite a few things it can do..question is does your IM strategy need to do these things or not?

Answer that question and you'll know whewther this tool is worth it or not for you.

If you want to pad out an established WEB 2 ring with some serious bulk over the course of a week or two then using the autowrite feature is ok. It's not original, and I would only do it to a WEB2 that already had 5 or more GOOD articles on it, but some of this stuff helps to bulk out the established stuff.

The site owners and Google pay less attention to sites that have a good rep - and they love regular updates and lots of it. You may need to cut corners somewhere, and this type of tool helps a lot with that.

Writing good stuff for your own sites or the first 5-10 posts of your 1st tier linking?

Nope - this sort of content is not good enough - except for research - but that doesn't mean there isn't plenty it can do.

Here's an SEO rule that still works and may well always work.

QUALITY at your site - and up close
QUANTITY wins the further out you get.

You think when you buy a 50,000 scrapebox blast or Xrumer hit they have a writer typing away unique comments or profile sigs for you?

Nope. (if you do you need some sort of care)

Scritty

Bought the subscription of article builder last week. I think thats a good tool if you want to generate content in bulk.
Of course the content from article builder is not A+ quality, but you can use this for SEO purposes.

If anyone wants to see the quality of content generated, then just drop me a PM along with your niche and I will send you couple of articles from article builder.

IMO, you should grab it asap. There are still few slots open.

thank you all very much for posting your experiences here.

If it doesn't have decent quality, I cannot even use it for SEO purposes.

What does that mean? Ask people requesting free articles if they're quality? Look at the leeches. They're practically all newbies. You're not going to get an honest review from freebie seekers.

Now to answer the OP's question. AB is great if you don't know a thing about content and SEO. It makes you feel like you're getting some sort of value because the articles are mostly legible.

If you watch the sales video Jon or whoever is demonstrating AB shows a quick pull of a weight loss article and I think he got only a 2 hit on Copyscape. He talks all the way through the video how you'll get at MINIMUM 75% unique but most of the time much higher than that with 90% many times.

So you watched the video and tossed in your $300 and now expect to duplicate what you just saw. NOT GONNA HAPPEN! Hit weight loss category and tell it to build you an article. Toss in TBS and do Copyscape and presto! You have 56 hitter on your hands. You close the Copyscape window and the majority of your article is yellow highlighting your duplicate content. WTF you think.

So you head over to AB forum and look around to see if anyone else sees the same thing and learn what you saw in that demo video is NOT what Jon said (bait and switch?). When Jon talked about 75% unique, he wasn't talking about Copyscape (so he says now), although you certainly was watching him use Copyscape, he was talking about comparing one AB article to another AB article.

WTF again you ask? Right if you have AB create you a batch of 100 articles or 1000 articles no two articles will have more than 25% duplicate content BETWEEN THOSE ARTICLES. Jon now says if you wanted stuff to pass Copyscape or even return the same results he showed (2 hitter) in his video then you would have had to pay at least 10 TIMES more for it ($3000 wtf).

Well I can take PLRs and spin the shit out of them and get to 75% uniqueness. Why did Jon show Copyscape return such a low match on an AB article when now he says he never guaranteed anything about Copyscape? Why was Copyscape in the video at all? You can probably answer that.....

So those of you that think AB is the greatest thing since sliced bread because you can generate articles that are only unique to themselves - good luck to you. Google doesn't judge whole articles in their entirety; they judge snippets. If Google finds your new AB article has a paragraph from this ranked site, a sentence from that ranked site, more sentences from another ranked site then your article isn't worth squat. All duplicate shit found all over the web. If for some reason you wish not to believe me then take whatever AB article you think is golden and start doing some exact phrase matches for sentences from your gold nugget in Google. You'll find your article in bits and pieces all over the web. If not today then very shortly. Bits and pieces of your gold nugget are being served to 1500 other users every single day!

75% unique to other AB articles isn't going to get you indexed in the real world. You need to be unique to all the other articles out there with KW focus and LSI relevancy. That is not being offered by AB unless you want to inject content and at that point what the hell are you thinking? You have good content and going to stuff it in with sentences found in exact matches all over the web and being served to 1500 AB marketers?

If you really want to have some fun and confirm all this dialog then get yourself a plagium paid account and toss your AB articles in there and do a deep analysis. Notice all the large green bubbles showing 10-11% duplication in the recent month. That's all your AB buddies burning out those articles you think are so great. Give this another couple months with 1500 users pulling 250 articles a day and the only thing you'll see pass Copyscape are the stop words.

This could have been a good service but with 1500 users pulling up to 250 articles a day for AMR and auto blog posting, there aren't enough PLRs in the world to keep up with that sort of demand; even when doing deep spins. I've MANY TIMES already found complete paragraphs from AB articles duplicated. One such paragraph exists on 2100 blog pages in exact match. A whole paragraph - word for word. How many duplicates would it take for a spun PARAGRAPH of 73 words take to show up in 2100 blogs? Either a million+ or some AB PLR paragraphs aren't spun at all....

There is my honest review if you're interested.

There is my honest review if you're interested.

I just stumbled upon article builder through AMR, and then i went to see the video on the sales page - the usual style of jon. after "understanding" what is said in the video, i thought that this cannot be true, so tried Google and i came across some reviews, and you know how we IM's do a review for a product that costs above $100.

Ultimately to get the right answer for my question, i thought BHW would be the best place to find, so here i got the Right and the Honest Review.

just my 2 cents if you want to find a honest review of any product or want to know the results from any service or IM product, i suggest that you search BHW first or post your query before spending your hard earned money.

By the way, when i was going through some review about article builder, some had suggested to use the latest version of TBS which has an article builder module built into it. so this saves lot more dollars which can be put into better use.

Interesting comments here. I purchased Article Builder when it first came out. I'm currently using its auto posting function to save articles in a repository. The auto post does not post Super Spun content, unfortunately. So, I have to use its API to query the Super Spun articles. We'll see just how good AB is...

$300/year is a good price for what AB does.

If the content isn't unique enough for you, don't buy it, just go back to scraping articles yourself. AB wasn't made to produce money site content, so don't expect it to. For what I use it for, it works great and has provided good results.

i bought and returned it

personal experience was that it was "ok" (ie mostly legible) for building backlinking quality content (not for on site) for the more popular niches, as soon as you get into something not as popular, quality and variation is severely limited IMHO.

I think it's one of the better investments I have made. The quality is definitely good enough for tier 1 and it saves me so much time.

Only my 5 cents.

I was considering buying and either using the articles in conjunction with AMR or re-running the article through spin rewriter. Thanks for your honest opinions.

The articles are already spun to the hilt so spin rewriter does almost nothing for you. I have AB and spin rewriter and trying to spin AB articles is a waste of time. Much better to grab an Ezine or similar article and spin it. With AB articles allowing 400 articles a day PER USER (thousands of users so 400 articles x 2000 users = 800,000 articles A DAY) from the same snippet pool there is almost no amount of spinning you can do to an AB article and make it unique. The best you can hope for is about 90% unique and those are harder and harder to come by.

AB has a useful purpose for me but it's not involved in any SEO work. For SEO value I think it's not worth the money.

Great feedback from Scritty and kvmcable. Thanks for the insight guys

I heard about it. But according to some friends who have actually used it. According to them, spun articles are not that understandable. Nothing still beats a thinking article re-writer, a human writer!

Has anyone ever used WAC? I was thinking about grabbing a copy

AB builds articles that are essentially woven together from a large database of PLR snippets. The articles that are created are readable. But, they're not unique to Gxxgle, and in most cases do not pass CopyScape. For SEO purposes it's pretty useless, and to get any value you'd need to re-write, so you could do that same with scraped articles or PLR yourself.
