Search Plus - Googles Search will change again...

After the universal search Google changes again. It is getting social ( who was thinking THAT? )

In a nutshell:

The Googlesearch will change in two things:

• It will display profiles and pages (yes, fanpages) by G+ directly for related terms
• More personalized results, related stuff from your circles with priority, posted pictures and so on...

In other words Google is now blatantly favoring their own properties over other content on the web. Those of you who don't realize it, this is a paradigm shift if they stick with it. It basically means that a google+ page will outrank almost any other website, if all things are equal.

It only does this for people that have google+, lots of people still don't have that. Also, I suspect a great deal of people will turn it off once they keep getting useless results from friends on all of their searches.

I think this will dramatically push the registration and usage +. They use their powerfullest weapon to establish their SN -it is just the next logical step from their point.

Truly a shock . I considered Google as a global player in the NGO niche...

+ is growing very fast. I run an personal account there did not add anyone but now I half the half of my real friends from facebook there already. No, I dont just have 2 friends.

They couldn't do it using the direct rout with all out social media sites like orkut (they have had others) so they do it using the time honoured tradition of wearing them down piece by piece. I guess they did learn something from microsoft.
