I sent him PM for the SCRIPT. But, didnt get any reply. I dont think he has the script. I tried for script on internet. But, they all use Iframe. So, it wont work on the wix animation at the beginning.

Do you download the website using cURL or WGET or someting to your own server and then remove the ads?

If you don't wan't to share it in the thread please PM, a heads up would be appreciated :-)

I talked with OP he said he only has a script to hide the ads at the bottom and right side (iframing), not the flash animation with the wix logo at the beginning

hi mates,

ive seen this thread many many times but never opend it. what a big fail of myself!

my plan:

went to yellowpages and collected about 50 outdated websites of local businesses.

contact them and offer them a 2012 designed website, SEO and stats every 2 weeks for just 5,66€ per day which is 170€ per month. my arguments: other companys charge for webdesign 1-2k+ and 250€ seo monthly minimum and less results.
i am using seo for my own websites for years and know how to deal with it. other businesses dont care about you cause they have too much contracts. and bla bla bla.

dont tell them a too high price!

referalbonus: i offer them a 10% reduce in case the refer a new client to me. 10 refs= cost for them! but 1,7k more per month to me :p

my work:
creat wix website/wp with a good looking design for local bizs. time:30 minutes
seo: fiver/no hands seo
stats: analytics. if bad results > paid junktraffic :p

most important: DO IT!

Ok... that's easy, it's the wix intro that's giving me headaches.

damn sir! you hit the Gspot! rep given

seriously?
Seriously?
SERIOUSLY?

Here...let me help you realize the POTENTIAL...

If I can just get ONE (1) client to buy a website for $200...you think that's all they're going to get from me?

PHUCK NO!

I'm going to get them on the back-end with:
A. Web Hosting
B. SEO Services (On-Page AND Off-Page)
C. Email Marketing
D. Lead Generation (Depending on what type of business we're talking about!)
E. Social Media Marketing
F. PPC Advertising (Depending on what type of business it is and whether or not PPC ads would actually be worth the time/investment!)

All of which can and most often times DO have MONTHLY Re-Occurring amounts associated with them!

So...
Customer 1 gets the $200 dollar website, plus they're paying ($X.XX) for SEO Services, Email Marketing AND Lead-Generation.

Customer 1 refers a "friend", who in turn gets the $200 website, plus web hosting, lead generation and PPC advertising...At this point, you've made $400 dollars off the two (2) websites you've sold...PLUS whatever you're charging on the back-end for each additional service you offer!

Now, imagine having just 10 customers?

Letting your mind run free and it really shouldn't take long to see how fast you earn $18,000 dollars!

Time and time again I consistently hear people say "think outside the box"..yet I'm beginning to think that most people here either don't listen...can't read...or a combination of both!

I love this method, but how do we build relevant websites now? Surely Wix is no longer suitable with the death of Flash being imminent. I can bang out a Weebly design and upsell beautifully but Flash is rather ineffective now.
Please refrain from saying 'learn web design' or something, I am a high school student who lacks the time to learn it and produce a 5 page design. This method is very effective if someone can find a good website builder.

it"s not for today mate, flash still has nice years before it goes out

Okay. I'm new to this site so....if this comes off noobish don't flame me lol

Instead of worrying about the "Wix Ads" issue why don't you just take the template from a service like Template Monster. Find a template for around $65 - $80. Spread that into your price (instead of $250, offer websites for $300-$400) and spare yourself the stress.

You can show clients demos without having to buy the template.

You would loose the big advantage of wix : rapidity

Thank you for your share ardley216. I'm really interested in the ACTIVE COLLAB part:
5. To refine my process I used a client management software where I could deal with clients remotely and seemlessly. ( I will spoon feed you this...) Get ACTIVE COLLAB! Clients love to see the 'process' as it happens.
I didn't think about it before. And it probably can help establish better relationship with a prospect. Could you please tell us how do you do this? How your ACTIVE COLLAB project/announcement process looks like?

Thanks :)
