Is selling ecigs illegal in he UK?

I recently been researching around and found a few aticles indicating that ecigs might be illegal to sell in the UK. Is this right?

I have heard about customs intercepting shipments of these overseas before, not sure how legit those claims are though.

Avoid the spammers, they're desperate for sales for a reason, and don't believe everything they tell you. They are all "the leading manufacturer" etc. but 90% are knockoff factories who will send you $20,000 of defective goods and you have to be the one to hunt down the good ones. Tons of stories like that. Unfortunately its mostly experience and good communication with others in your market that lets you know who and what to avoid. Your best bet is stick to one of the big guys first before you experiment with the smaller factories.
