As far as rank checker, I personally like Market Samurai, but have been hearing a lot about SEscout.

I'm 5 weeks in, so nearly half way through the initial 90 days and I'm happy.

There comes a time when you're either serious about creating something long term and prepared to make that investment with a service like this, or you're just forever a hit and run operation.

I want a service that I can outsource ALL of my sites to and I deliberately started off with a niche which is highly competitve to see how John's service handles it.

As of right now this is a service I highly recommend and going by the numbers of the guy who cancelled, so should he of, if he had half a brain!

I bought on 13 December and till yesterday I saw no increase in traffic (actually a decrease, that can be proven via Google Analytics stats) and also a decrease for my main term but a small increase for 3 other terms(in this time I did some other link building myself). Because I didn't noticed any increase or new inbound links (via webmaster tools, majestic seo, and other tools) I canceled my subscription and sent this email to jstover77 yesterday:

Hello John,

I don't know what tool you are using to check my rankings but it's not accurate. My rankings have not improved in the last month. For the term "unlock iphone 4s" I went down 3 spots in the lat month.
The trend is also confirmed by my Google Analytics stats, where traffic has not increased, but decreased.
I would like to see a report with some of the work you did for the website and based on that I will decide if we should continue working together.
If you can't provide me with a sample report I will have to file a Paypal dispute.

You signed up on December 13th. That wasn't even 30 day ago?? Also since our offices were closed for 6 days in December, in actuality, we have only been working on your campaign for a total of 15 days. And since we don't work on Sundays, that number can be whittled down even further.

I run a report as son as the campaign starts, which was December 13. Here is what I have. And this is accurate trust me. I do hundreds of these. I also manually checked all of these in Google Chrome in incognito mode. Also, you can not rely on Google webmaster for rankings. They are not accurate. You have to use a rank checker to monitor them.
Here is your rankings from December 13 until today. This is accurate. As to why your traffic has gone down, no idea why. It shouldn't be.

I then filed a dispute with Paypal as he said he will stop the service even if the 30 days period I paid for was not over and he didn't even tried for a second to show me he really worked on my website.

Here are the messages from him after I started the Paypal dispute:

I would have offered you a $100 refund just to get you off my back, but now you want to play fuck fuck?? I will just escalate the dispute and win. You obviously don't know Paypal's policies. Now yo are just wasting both our times. Also, I am also reporting you to the mods on Blackhatworld. Have fun getting banned.

You need to learn how to do business with people and not act like a scumbag for services rendered.

I don't really care how Paypal will settle this dispute but I wanted to show you how this provider will treat you in case you are not happy with his services. All I did was tell him my concerns regarding his services and in response I got a virulent response and threats.

You should have at least given full 30 days and If you had concerns you should have just spoke to him first not cancelled.

I don't even like bumping this thread but it is hands down the best service I have seen offered on BHW, it's way under priced and you are missing out having cancelled.

Crizato, remember it was Christmas and new year period as well, so as John said, he would have been closed like 24th,25th,26th,31st,1st at least. You really have not given the guy long enough, and it's not even as if you have easy keywords.

Also you know this isn't a short term service. It's proper managed SEO.

Well you just outed your site and niche pretty much, how long have you been doing internet marketing? I would be careful about letting everyone see sensitive info like that.

Honestly it sounds like you invested more than you can afford. With any campaign you should know that doing that is similar to gambling and if you don't understand the risk no one will care about it when you lose and after they told you so.


I am rounding my first month with jstover and I have witnessed double digit gains in rankings for all of my 15 medium to high competition keywords he is working on. Also as a result of his mysterious link building methods (which I don't care to know specifics) are obviously working, I am ranking for a lot of long tailed keywords that I didn't target originally.

I have ways of separating the links he builds and the ones I create so I know he is giving us our money's worth, you just have to let it all come together while waiting for the accordion effect of google's system to play out. Also his customer service is one to be reckoned with, the dude is on skype almost all day every day.

I plan on sticking with and using jstover for future projects for as long as he decides to stay in business.

December sucks for website traffic in most niches and it also depends on where you get placed while moving up in the rankings the amount of traffic you will get each day for a said keyword.

Although MS can be off here and there, I always manually check rankings in the beginning and they were correct.

These were the true results that we got his website in 25 days as much as he wants to claim that they did not increase. This is either a total lie on his part or he is completely uneducated on how to monitor rankings.
