Bing/Yahoo better at detecting spamming?

I have websites perfoming really well in Google owning the #1-#3 spot for competitive keywords. These same websites are deindexed in Bing & Yahoo. These websites were ranked using Spammy techinques for link building.

Are Bing & Yahoo better at detecting SPAM and penalizing? Anyone experienced the same things?

All websites are 6 months + old.

I am not complaining that I am ranking better in Google but I just find it strange that Bing/Yahoo catch up on spamming and Google does not.

Bing and Good Old Spam seems to work real good for me, but don't expect your site to rank anywhere in Google LOL

I have the same opinion, going gradual with linkbuilding at 1st and putting content on and off page seems to work better for google.

If I hit a site with a SB blast all of a sudden Bing/Yahoo takes notice but Google does not like it so much.

Strange, I am experiencing the EXACT opposite.

I recently had the same problem with a site. I didn't even follow my rankings in Yahoo and Bing because I was dominating #1 and #2 spots for very competitive phrases in G.

I didn't use spammy techniques to promote this site. In the past, if I used SB and XR I could get sites to rank well in Yahoo and Bing, but it brings bad tidings from the big G, so for this site I didn't do any spam links.

It ranked solid in G for around 1 year. The other day it took a tumble in G, strange thing is for competitive phrases it fell anywhere from 15 to 100+ spots, BUT for the name of the site (not competitive term) it's gone!

Anyway, during my investigation into what happened I noticed that the site was DEINDEXED in Yahoo and Bing! This is the first time I've ever had a site deindexed in Yahoo and Bing. I've done super aggressive SB and XR to sites, and they usually ranked better in Yahoo and Bing. My current site was fairly white hat.

I hope you don't experience a fall in G like I did. If you figure out why you got deindexed from Yahoo and Bing let us know. It's really difficult to find information on the subject, because it usually doesn't happen!

I guess it depends on the type of SPAM??

Autoapprove SB blasts did rank 2 of my test sites in Bing but never made it in Google..

Xrumer profiles killed it in both engines for me in another test..

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Bing & Yahoo are so susceptible to spam it's insane. I don't know what you did wrong but, in my experience spamming your way to the top of Bing and Yahoo is a walk in the park.

And I recently had a site that was, for all intent and purposes, white hat - deindexed from Yahoo and Bing. Something isn't right.

I have spammy autoblogs that I tested XR and SB on a year ago still ranking on page one of Yahoo.

It's hard too answer without seeing the site (don't post it).
I've been asked to look at sites and the keyword is almost in every sentence.
Never had an issue with either SE using tools.

Much like other members in this thread, i've found the exact opposite.
I've had sites rank #1 in Bing/Yahoo for medium competition keywords after 48 hours from a massive Scrapebox blast, a blast which resulted in the same site being deindexed by Google for nearly 12 months.
