Facebook.com NOT number 1 in Google India

There is an interesting thread on WF, not sure if some of you have seen it but there is a site, which develops Facebook Apps outranking Facebook.com for the term: Facebook in Google India ( Google.co.in ). I am in Canada and have verified that Facebook-india.com does indeed outrank Facebook.com

So the question is, how did they do it? All blackhat? A bit of blackhat, whitehat and greyhat? :)

They seem to have done it with 797 backlinks in majestic seo
 
I feel that this should be a motivation for all of us... Even a website like facebook can be beaten for his own term... Kinda cool even it`s going to be like this for a short period of time ^^
 
Just a random spike in the Google dance process. The site barely has any backlinks and is a measly PR3. As the guy above has said, it won't last very long.
 
This is crazy!

They might have done some crazy-ass SEO to it.

I'd be willing to shell out $xxx,xxx if someone guarantees to rank my site #1 on Google.com for a keyword like the "facebook".
 
OK, I'm sure some people won't be pleased to hear this. But the truth of the matter is, who the fuck cares about Google India? I am yet to be able to monetize Indian traffic, so I'm sure Facebook aren't exactly giving a flying fuck about this either.

Lol OP,

Don`t worry this stays for only 1-2 days, this actually happened 1 month back to me and by the time i told this to my friend it was gone, Google does gives priority to local words so if you someone wants to do this with other websites then it would work wonders but don`t think of playing with big players because it won`t last long!
 
I just searched "Facebook" on google.co.in but the said website is no where to be seen on first page even.
