I was looking at several keyword tools but they seem to give different information.

Is Google Adwords Keyword Tool accurate? I tried it but it does not provide enough competition information.

What is a good keyword research tool that would give search volume, competition, other keyword suggestions and such?

Thanks!

For checking SEO Competation use Market Samurai.
Use Google Adword Tool to check The number of searches the keyword gets per month. Choose only Medium or High competation keywords as advertiser will be bidding on those keywords.

If you select low competation keywords using Google Adword tool always make sure that there are other monetization methods other than Adsense.

OMG....-_-

Every other day one of these threads pop up.

Use the search button.

Wouldn't higher competition keywords be harder to rank in top 10 for Google?

Can you please explain because before I was looking at lower competition keywords and planned to use adsense.

Thanks!

You could've said that a bit nicer.

How about next time you answer their question and then inform them of the search feature for the next time they have a question.

Micro Niche Finder works alright for me, I'd recommend it but I've had some problems with it from time to time. Market Samurai has similar features, and its definitely worth the price. Traffic Travis isn't supposed to be too bad either. It's really up to you to try them and see what you like best. I think almost every software out now has decent refund policies. If you don't like it, get a refund.

Market Samurai is excellent! You can find it here for free too :D

Keywordscout it pretty good, it gets updated quite a bit so its always running tiptop

Heres an idea.

Grab 5 of the most popular keyword tools, and find a keyword from each of the 5 that are determined to be easy to rank for. Then give all 5 keywords a shot and see which ones end up being easiest. You will then have your answer and a couple sites already on the go.

Market Samurai is my go-to tool for niche keyword research, but I also occasionally use Traffic Travis.

You can also potentially use Scrapebox for a number of keyword tasks....but that's another topic.

here some the best keyword tools
Market Samurai
stealthkca
Semrush
Keywordscout match for amazon

As a newbie i am following the method by IamNRE here in

Code:
blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/white-hat-seo/266300-method-step-step-keyword-research-newbies.html

It works like a charm.

I am learning MS to do a more detailed research.

So Its Google kw tool + ms = best in the market.
This is my opinion.

You want medium\high comp so the niche is getting traffic.
Low comp niches will not only pay low but the traffic usually isn't the type to click on adsense.

I used to be a fan of Micro Niche Finder before using Ultimate Niche Finder.. UNF is a pretty good tool and the developer is a member here.. It's GREAT for scraping keywords, can check competition and domain availability.. To further check the first page competition in detail I use Market Samurai

I use Google Insights and it works wonderfully. I can compare keywords and see which one is worth my time vs other ones
