using a single account and building a targeted follower list isn't.


Blackhat is just a buzzword anyway. Every method has a certain ratio of risk/reward.

using an automation software to grow twitter accounts can be considered "blackhat". As mentioned above, if you use the software to help simplify your life and use it to make it appear to be "human" then you should have no problem.
