Thought this would be a interesting thread.

There is a wealth of information on BHW, so many methods, and so much expertise. But it would be good to get a resource on what YOU get your $$$ from. To give noobs an idea of what has worked for others.

This isnt going to be a thread on specific methods, more on types of IM ( CPC, adsense mns, CL, Ebay, SEO, offline, Site flipping etc etc)

Answer the following questions

1. What is your main method for income?
2. Do you have secondary methods?
3. Approximate Earnings per year (XXXX$) - only if your comfortable.
4. How long have you been in IM?
5. Any advice you would give to others?

Again i dont want this to turn into a specific method thread - so dont post "can you share your method.. bla.bla.bla"

Your missing the point of the thread, it should act as a gauge as to what are the most sucessfull / common methods for BHW members. Im well aware of that forum.

Few small niche affiliates I seen were easy to rank, with little effort, make a couple thousand a month.

a)You have to want it. There's millions of more people that are poorer than you, need the money more than you, are smarter than you... you have to want it more than them. When they're there sitting watching TV, lounging around, taking a break, you have to be working your ass off.
b) Try to make money on something you enjoy, atleast at the beginning. Some of you see big $$ in some of the niche and think you're going to outrank people that have been doing it for years. Find something you like, you're passionate about, don't even think about money, and it'll be more profitable than you can imagine.
c) Think outside the box. Stop doing what everyone else is doing. There are untapped ways to make money, find high quality links, etc., and they're untapped because you're thinking like everyone else. As mentioned above, I have a few sites that make a couple thousand per month, because I tried to be different.

As you know, there are hundreds of proven ways to make a buck online, some work better than others. The difficult part for new IM'ers is to sift through ALL the crap floating around. It seems like the best method to making money online is to write an "ebook" on.... wait for it... "MAKING MONEY ONLINE!"

I do article marketing, write for hubpages(passive income of like 200-325 usd per month), setup blogs and niche sites that I update once or twice a month. The blogs/sites are my MAIN earners, I monetize these with adsense. Also, I dabble in Amazon arbitrage(buy low online and resell for a couple bucks profit on amazon)

All in all I net approx 2000 usd per month, with about 60 hours of work per week. This is HALF of what I was banking last year-guess times are rough??

I started doing IM in 2000 but FAILED at everything I attempted. Gave up(big mistake) and then came back to it in 2005 ish.. I continued to fail but i did not quit this time! Eventually I found one method that worked and built that up nicely. I've been chipping away ever since.

I tell everyone that gets into IM the same thing. FOCUS on ONE method at a time. Research it and then take ACTION! Don't give up if you don't start making money right away.. It may take 6 months or more to get out of the red. IM is hard work, don't expect to get rich overnight. Master one method, automate it as much as possible, and THEN begin working on a secondary source of income.

They say don't put all of your eggs in one basket. This is true. If you do become one of the few that turns a profit online, don't get comfortable/complacent. Your one method may dry up at anytime. Paypal may F you over. Any number of things can go wrong. So make sure that as soon as you succeed with one method, start working on method 2 ASAP. Master that one and go to the third. The main issue is that all of the methods which bring in the money will not be public information, I'm talking about such methods like :

- 1 week cash machine.
- Money through torrents.
- Money using twitter.

The more people using the methods, the more saturated it is the more harder you have to work for more then likely less profits.

I suggest choosing a niche, finding what the target audience of that niche would be interested in buying, keyword research (preferably an EMD) then work your way from there.

To be honest, I cant believe people fall for ewhoring methods :/ But then again I cant believe people click the ads on my site as well. I guess once you do blackhat, you are immune to it.

5. Any advice you would give to others? Keep at it, and try multiple methods, one may not work for you, but another might. Or you might be decent in multiple ways , just keep trying.
