anyone recommend any seo course to rank websites on google?

Downloaded SEO Experts Academy for my new office staffs but didn't go though all the vids. You can test some vids. If it does the job for you, download the full version. You can search for free downloads.

SEO Experts Academy is a good course to follow. But we can find more details in BHW. Specially in BH SEO and WH SEO sections.

You don't even need to take a course. Just study and read this page on the google ranking factors.

You can do all the on-page seo stuff in a couple days, depending on your site.

All the off-page seo mainly consists of getting high quality, relevant links to your site.

That's it. There is no secret. If anything, hard work and staying dedicated to link building is the secret to success.

Second this most people selling seo dont know the extent of what is listed in this forum. Read and learn from here.

I went through the Affilorama course when I first started. The guy who produced it is a reputable guy (as far as I'm aware) and the course is simple and easy to understand.
http://www.affilorama.com/lessons

Whether it's still up to date or not, I don't know, as he has a paid course out recently called Affilo Blueprint. http://www.affilorama.com/affiloblueprint

Hope that helps, they helped me back in the day!

My advice is learn the basics here or if you want to speed things up a bit get a trial on SEOMoz and read as much as you can until the trial lasts, SEOMoz is a good service but I personally don't pay for it and I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner.

After you learn the basics you need to come up with a good SEO technique. You can find a lot of them around here, that shouldn't be problematic, just read a few of them and spice them together so that it has a low footprint and at least 3 Tiers.

After that you have two options depending on how much money you have and are willing to spend. You can:
1) Do things manually
2) Invest in tools/services.

After you've decided on this one it's time to test, you can either start out with one site or multiple ones but you should know that the first site probably wont make you money, but you will learn. If the technique you used doesn't work tweak it or change it altogether, try something else. You will do this for a few months and after that you should know what you're doing and have a good technique.

Despite what most people here will tell you, you need to test in order to become good at SEO. Experimentation is key, without it you won't succeed.

I am looking for someone who has bought Laura Betterly's course "Mobile Fusion". I am considering whether to buy, but don't want to waste time, money. All I can find is people wanting to sell it to me.

There's a book called "The Art of SEO", explains everything in details...though its released in 2009, but better than most of the courses online, suited for beginners, probably its already shared in downloads section, dig and find out buddy.

That's a great SEO book, however it's kinda outdated. Just PM me who wants it.

go for http://www.seobook.com ,you can learn professional seo course with latest changes in google. They charge lot of fee monthly

Just use youtube and google to find tutorials for SEO since Google updates frequently now it's best to look for courses not more than a month old.

Experience > School when it comes to IM & SEO.

You can learn the basics from SEO blogs, forums, seminars, and conferences you can only acquire your SEO expertise in one place: engaging in full hands-on optimization. That doesn?t mean you have to do everything. It means you do whatever you become expert in because you can only become expert in whatever you do. You have to know what works and what is nonsense.

No one is an expert SEO because other people say they are. No one is an expert SEO because they put marketing hype on their Web site. People become SEO experts by constantly outperforming other SEOs in whatever skill sets they develop their expertise. You?re the expert when you can take the topic of discussion further than everyone else. You?re the expert when you no longer wonder what the other guy is doing.

There are no credible Expert SEO Certifications. We?ll have credible Advanced SEO Certifications before we have credible Expert SEO Certifications. Anyone can learn Advanced SEO techniques (although most so-called ?advanced SEO techniques? are nothing more than the basic techniques rehashed under the advanced label). Only a few people will ever become experts in advanced techniques because an expert, by definition, surpasses the majority.

Wise words from here:

I think BHW is a great source where you can find helpful info. Just make the first step, practice makes perfect.
