I had that before. Other party didn't respond, I gave proof and I lost the dispute. $250 down the drain at the end of the summer (it was most of my money too) right before college. -_-

Playpal drives me friggin batty. I was selling products online and making 20% profit. This was a good deal because I was just buying and selling quickly. Then playpal sent me a notice (after being with them for years) that they will be holding 30% of my money for 120 days after a transaction. I would understand if I had bad feedback but mine is 100%. These big companies like G00gle and Playpal are seriously screwing with the little guy lately. They already have a monopoly and it looks like it is just going to keep getting bigger. So I have just come to the conclusion that I have three employers even though I own my corporation. Faceb00k, G00gle, and playpal. Because any of them can kick my ass to the curb and screw me up big time.

You learnt it hard way. Call your cousin in other city, gave your pw and tell him to buy online products. After you got online products login your account and dispute unauthorized transaction then you got your money and your online whatever you get

i deal with 20 mil in payments a year(NONE of it is mine of course, but; what i would like to contribute to this thread is that with AN, u might have 25 bux in fees a month, but if your doin over 2k/per month, its definitely a better deal than thiefPal. id rather bring home some slut who steals my money, but really, if yer doin over 2k poo pal is robbing u in fees and yer riskin yer weed money for nuthin

paypal is good if you are using your true information. once i also got limited. but after submitting the proof that they asked account was back to normal.

I agreed. i had a problem before and i submitted some document they asked and they unlimited my account within 24hours

Paypal, just like Adsense use a shitty crap called "STATISTICAL MODEL". This system runs through all the data you can possibly generate to determine whether you're good or evil.

To avoid such bullshit in the future, upgrade to a business account and you should be set.

The op simply got limited, it's normal, they always do it. Provide them with proof and they will open your account.

you must be very very lucky that all your dealings with paypal have ended ok

To state just give them all the details and it will open the account is a statement from a very lucky person. Most people even after providing everything get a stansard email back that the account is limited and you can claim the funds in 180 days and there is nothing anyone can do about it

Paypal are in a field that is pretty much lawless at the moment, governments are getting around to it but real laws are needed as billions are traded every day.

They get away with most of it because you agree to their terms when you open the account and their terms basically say they can do what they want

A good alternative is required sadly no one is of the scale of PP at the moment

Paypal is the most pathetic payment processor I have ever used in my life!! They limited my account by telling me about some kind of f***ing "Unusual log-in activity"! I didn't have to think twice for switching to 2CheckOut!
