purchased 11 days ago and saw a small movement, but started to rank for other keywords as well.

i used 301.

now the thing is.

when i type the url in quotes i only see 337 results from the last 10 days.

and almost every url has either no anchor or no backlink but just the name of the site with the anchor... no link at all.. dunno..

is that normal ?

I noticed the same thing with most if not all of my backlinks. No anchor only links to the URL. Even if you post spam most of the time there is an anchor. Why are there none?

I put my 301'd site into google and loads of links come up.

Only one site comes up in the last month though and that's the one it redirects to?

Another of KW hit Page 1 in some countries (single letter KW) while it is in Page 2 in other countries. This was for an earlier order.

Some other KWs for first few orders had slipped down a bit, so have taken few more blasts, lets see.

WhiteDolphin: can you please confirm if all the URLs for order with tran id ending with 768254S/8481053 have been started (there were 5 URLs in total). Btw, this was sent by email/IM and not the regular order form, so would like to double check (not seeing all urls in google search in left pane from last one week filter).

I see a lot of links in Majestic that were not there previously. I can tell they're from SGW because they're really crappy links , and lots of them.

This is done on purpose for anchor text variety. There are links with your anchors as well. If you point 100k links all at your site with the same anchors bad things will happen, whereas if you keep it natural looking it won't. Not every natural link will have your anchor in it and thus we replicate that.

I only asked for 1 keyword, and is the exact match for my domain. It's an 8.100 exact searches for a foreigner keyword (but not with foreigner characters).

When I ordered I was in 9th for the keyword on the first page of google for the search, today my position went up to 4th.

The traffic coming from this keyword was 12 clicks a day on average and today it was 42 clicks.

Excited about the results, but hoping to get 1th position with this blast. It's not a competitive search after all.

Update:

Was position 4 as of my last update.

Now Page 1 position 3. That means im 3 from the top. Couldnt get this moved prior to the blast. Now its at position 3.

This was a blast directly to the site not using 301's. I figured since the site is an authority site and established as a classfiied site the blast should be directly to the ad.

Seems to be climbing. I hope to take out the top 2 within a few weeks. They are just domains with no authority.

My second blast for my second site went well. I was on the 5th page for my desired phrase and now I'm ranked 5. I even beat out sites like Good Housekeeping and some bigger shopping sites/blogs.

I cant say youll see the same results, it really depends on a number of factors.

Big Disappointment in the last few hours.

Made it to position 2 on page one then dropped back to where i started from Position 6 page 1.

So i was up there for 2 days now im back at my starting point. Very depressing!!

Seems short lived.
