$1.00 for a full year from fatcow

With IPower, you have to note, do not use this hosting acct for any of your money sites. Also, if you use these hosting accts for WP installs, meanng multiple WP installs, you can expect for your sites and hosting acct to have issues. These types of hosts are primarily designed for websites that have low CPU demands.

Only for 1$ backlink really

You lost me????

Only for 1$ backlink really

If you use the account wisely, you can set up a sweet BL network as part of your other low cost/cheap hosting accounts. Their control panel takes a little getting used to but once a person gets that down pact, they are good to go.

So for one $1.00, its totally worth it, IMHO.

If you don't know HTML, a good suggestion would be to use something like XSitePro, ThingaMaBlog, WYSIWYG webbuilder, Xara Web Designer or possibly even Artisteer to build your websites. The point being is to make sure that you have the entire site backed up on your hard drive. That way, if you need to swap hosts, you can do it on the fly.

Lol. I was going to register, but I just went to eat dinner and when I come back the offer has expired.

I'm never eating again.

Sounds good. I'd get it if I didn't just buy a 2 years hostgator hosting account. 50% off with NOSOPA

Now I see that some of zkozi's links still work but every time I try to sign it say:
Your username must be at least 4 characters long.

Wth? :S

See my previous post...

Hold you horses, these deals are still alive!

As zkozi stated, FatCow, iPage, netfirms, etc., are all owned by the same company, which is (EIG) Endurance International Group, probably one of the largest shared host providers out there. That's why all of their specials are the same and that's why their proprietary control panels are the exact same.

That said, if you go through the list provided by zkozi , you will find some cheap hosting for sure!

;)

Much thanks this is a kewl deal, been needing this for some of my blogs.

I have several domains with godaddy... can I use those domains with this hosting without actually transferring them?

yes
Choose
Transfer an existing domain.
Put any domain name

I've been with ipage for about a year. It's slow, doesn't support cronjobs, it went down for 3 weeks straight in september and the support is friendly but that's about all they are.

3 weeks in a row they kept telling "problem will be solved anytime now, please be patient, we're sorry"
Since then I only use it for testing personal things.

And with slow I mean it sometimes takes forever to even load an empty blog, I have 1 wordpress install over there without plugins or content just to check when others loaded slow.

I don't mind paying slightly more for much better shared hosting. But dedicated is still the way it seems.

Got 2 hosting accounts for $1.. wish I cud grab a few more though

After the first 2, i got a security error.. even when i changed IP's etc.. So works for 2 quick hosting accounts

Can't you just choose to not transfer a domain? It just brings you to the checkout screen

Getting a username error , there's no field.. Think they took it out to stop the offer?

Btw, it doesn't really expire Jan 1, now says "Offer Ends January 2!", looks like they're updating it depending on what day you're looking at it :)

Brought it, but then I realized transferring all my sites is hard. Oh well, lucky it was only 1 dollar.

Create feeder sites that point to your money site(s). Google looks for backlinks coming from different IP's.

Re: too hard--if you use Wordpress, get a clone/back-up piece of software specifically made for WP (if that's what you're using).

If you choose the transfer a domain option, you will lend up fine on ipage and fatcows. My attempts on all other sites failed; some had expired coupons and others rejected the transaction for security reasons.. shucks i needed 10 such hosting accounts badlyy!!

When you get a error message that your transaction has been terminated and has been sent to Billing for review, believe it or not, if you call that number they will push your order through, lol! The call may take all of three to five minutes, of that.

They are going ask you, your name, email address, and the domain name you will be pointing to the hosting account. They are also going to ask you your "Username." Just tell them the system didn't request you to input a username. Once they find your acct info in their system, they will push it through. It's easy as giving candy to a baby. :D

We just opened a batch of these accounts and according to the last CSR I talked to, they got swamped with new accounts today and their system is triggering a lot of billing fraud.

Also bear in mind, all of these companies (Netfirms, Powweb, Fatcow, Ipage, Ipowerweb, etc.) are essentially under one roof, in terms of tech support, billing and customer service. That means as soon as you attempt to open a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th acct, etc., you are going to automatically set off their billig fraud alarm but its no big deal. ;)

after I pay it with paypal I get an security message that my transaction will be reviewd be them and will have an answer for me ...when? don't know
This offer is specialy for existing and former customers of ipage, fatcow, etc.
You can try it by puting a transfer domain to checkout and then maybe they will aprove our accounts :d
