Best tool to check your ranking position

to find out your position on the SERP's

#1 Forget almost all online tracker. They are all inaccurate. I tried SEScout, SerpBuddy, Raven, Whoosh with keywords i manually checked in clean environment. Not one matches the real results.

#2 Traffic Travis is almost accurate

#3 The only rank tracker which gave me 100% real results is http://www.advancedwebranking.com/

For online tracker si got the SESCout, and like it.

For desktop tracker I like TT and rank tracker.

Rankerizer (google it) is accurate - perhaps even more than rank tracker. It's a basic software and is available for free download. Let me anyway try what subster said. + thanks!

Just type SERP in google. Well, at least that is what I used, and I think most of them is accurate.

Hi,

I use rank tracker combined with checking some of the keywords manually.
SEscout isn't that accurate, i haven't used there service the last 2 months though so don't know if they made any new changes, however they never counted youtube videos as a competition, if there were a video on #2 and i was #3 (checking manually) it will show up as #2 in SEscout.

I would love to share a link with you that gives the exact Google ranking that you have, works extremely well, you simply put in your keyword + website URL and then it gives you your ranking in Google.

Unfortunately auto-moderation is still in place for me :/

I guess online tracking tool is not accurate because they query so many times, google returns results with geo info. that's why you had better use desktop app to track from your own environment. otherwise, when you present the result to your client, you may different ranking, which is not good.

I use Advanced Web Ranking to track it. Powerful, but too many features, you may never use. and it is too expensive.

I tried out a fair number of rank tracker software but still go back to Market Samurai for quick results and Advanced Web Ranking for generating reports for my clients. MS while slow at times is actually very good at tracking your keywords. Advanced Web Ranking's ability to generate reports at pro version is a big plus for those who have offline clients and want something that can generate good nice reports without a high price point.

I don't think u have used SEScout recently.It has been right on the money for couple of months now.

I've found that nothing beats manual checking in my experience.
Just bear in mind, different IPs, times and locations will give different results!

I don't know why so many people knock RankTracker (maybe they are using it incorrectly) but I have over 3k keywords and I use it like a charm. I love the quick filter option that lets you sift thru your kw.

I don't think u have used SEScout recently.It has been right on the money for couple of months now.

I used it last two weeks and IT IS THE MOST INACCURATE tracker I've ever used. I configured my country for the searches, but the results are definitly wron, sometimes about 100 positions.

If you are tracking a number of domains nothing beats http://trackthedomain.com/ IMHO.

I use Market Samurai and find it real accurate.

I don't see what the issue is, I enter the keywords, hit update rank data and it spits them out with a clickable link that loads that page of google in your default browser. Its always where it says...
