Some of you might remember my Automated Yahoo Groups Method I released here years ago. Here's a lil trick you can use to send 1000's of emails that will inbox 100% of the time.

Problem: Reputation-based spam filters.

Solution: Get Yahoo to send your spam for you.


Overview:

Yahoo groups allows you to promote your yahoo group like you would a newsletter on your website. You can place a tiny html code on your website that people can use to join your group by submitting their email. The email must be confirmed.

If you notice there are no "abuse" links, or ways to report you from within the email itself.

Nor is there a way to edit the message. Users must click the link to view your group homepage, or join the group for you to get your message across.

I haven't found a limit on how many emails you can send.

We will be exploiting this form using the headers to send email. Users normally would have to input their email themselves, but we are doing it for them.


Steps

1. Download my simple ubot program
2. Input your yahoo group name into the software.
3. Browse for your email list in .csv format with one email per line.
4. Click Run

Ways to monetize this:

1. Pick a good niche and place a link to your website, or CPA offer in the description of your yahoo group.
2. Since you own the yahoo group, everyone that joins, you will now be able to email members by posting a message within the group. Email them at anytime, anything you want.

Do not run this app on your home computer ISP if you plan on abusing it.

So if I understand this correctly, you can only send emails to people who have joined your group? This is a neat idea, but you still have to get the people to join your group, when they do so they opt-in to your list anyway.

I'm sure I'm missing something, but is there a way to send to people who haven't joined? Otherwise I don't really see the benefit of going through the trouble to set this up when you can use your own website and mail chimp or aweber.

The bot takes a list of scraped emails and essentially invites them to join. ( It's asking them for confirmation ) Once they do you can email them anything you want.

Anyways, just wanted you to know this does NOT inbox 100%.
I've tried it with a few popular free email services and it gets sent to JUNK.
Just figured id let people know.
It's still a nice share tho.

Now, if you could get Yahoo to send the email and send you a report that says, "Email address [email protected] has bounced", that would be golden. Basically, you would let Yahoo clean your mailing list and you would get a report of the bad email addresses.

It's not a bad idea, but probably illegal. Sending spam emails just makes me nervous
