Is there any free software for bulk sms sending?

I am looking for a free sofware that I can install on my pc and use it for sending bulk sms through it. I know that paid versions are available but I am looking for a free one. Can anyone guide or give url of the source please?

but, i use twilio.com to get the phone numbers (costs you $1.00 per number) and 1 penny per text message sent.

and, they have their own open source software - open vbx that fits onto their service.

i am having good luck with this approach. just thought I would share.

I may take you up on that Koco, I have free access to sms data worldwide. although I never ventured in the sms territory I think I may try it.

If they are US-based SMS then you could setup a gmail account, install MUTT on a linux machine and then setup a bash script to automate the process. I've used a script before to do so. It works perfectly... spammed the shit out of my friends. lol
