Seems that now if a US president considers you a terrorist, not only can he have you killed, but he can (now LEGALLY) detain US Citizens indefinitely according to a bill signed into law this Christmas.

While people were busy stopping SOPA, this was going on silently without a lot of Major News coverage.

I normally don't post political stuff, but this seems serious enough to warrant a post here.

If you live in the US, you might want to do a search about this and check out some of the wording in this bill. Its pretty bad.......

, it seems the world is changing, :( I wonder what will be the future of the world

Ah yes, the land of the free. Liberty, all that.

Hasn't the Government been able to kill its own citizens for political reasons for almost the past 60 years? Read about the Rosenbergs.

Huffington post actually covered it.

Really not much info on this.
Look into FEMA :)

Company in charge of setting this up has been hiring people to get these running. Contract ends in 2013. (taken from the actual website of the company)

In other words, something is going down in 2012.

Feel sorry for you kids under 35, better look east... and hope you make enough a day, learn a new language, run, cause soon, ... well did you read 1984?

I think you have been influenced by a political smear campaign. Read the bill.

Section 1021 (e) of the Final Bill seems to be say the direct opposite of what you're alleging.

"AUTHORITIES.—Nothing in this section shall be construed
to affect existing law or authorities relating to the detention of
United States citizens, lawful resident aliens of the United States,
or any other persons who are captured or arrested in the United
States"

@Dannick...

Are you serious, so they made a whole bill just to NOT CHANGE ANYTHING AND LEAVE IT AS IS?

You are misunderstanding this whole thing

Danick, I hope that is true. I really would not like to see the US turned into one big prison camp (despite my tendency to debate my points rigorously on this forum, I am a peace loving human being at heart!).

But the wording is so vague throughout the rest of the bill that it can be interpreted in so many ways within a certain context. Its the vague wording of this bill that worry's me.

What stopped them before this bill? Nothing! Now they just want to flaunt what they already do. We think we are free because we vote. Not so much. We live in servitude, from the time we wake up to the time we go to sleep. Think about it. We pay taxes on everything. Turn on a light, take a piss, open my door, all taxed.

Good thing I don't think I'll be considered a "terrorist."

Well if the US is so bad, you are always free to leave. Hell some Hollywierd actors said that they would leave if Bush got reelected and the fools are still here. The feds are not totally responsible for taxes. Look to your state, county or city and their taxation. If you don't like it, move to another state. The feds don't charge you 3k per year in property tax to live in a house that you own, but it is for the children.... LOL they would be better off without the government involved in brainwashing them.

There are only a few taxes from the Federal government, and yet they also give out very generous tax breaks and loopholes.

Maybe not yet but when the time comes theyll i bet theres something on your head too that lands you in one of those prison camps. If not theyll make something up :) you can count on it.
