Why I Love Content Locking

I literally put my content locker up for one of my pages just 5 minutes ago and did some spamming on Youtube (rating up my comments). Gotta love needy people!

Regardless this post isn't supposed to brag or anything, but rather to motivate the beginners here. I received a total of 16 hits, 4 conversions, all for a total of $9.20. If you guys stick to a method and try your best, your destined for success.

Well your image and your text dont add up together. You're saying you promoted an offer with an EPC of 2$+ while your screen shot shows an EPC of 7.7$...

I showed one offer in the screenshot. Of which it received one click, and resulted in one conversion. I'd rather not show the offers or more of my campaign analytics.

It's all in how you sell it. My content locked page leaves them a link to a download. If they are smart enough to get postbacks, then they deserve it.

Yes this was one offer. I had a total of 16 hits on 9 different offers. 3 converted for the same .50 offer... this one took me by surprise.


Needless to say stats are significantly higher now and I am currently converting @ 23.5%

because i lock the password on a blogger blog and write it in white so they do not see it and have to do what the content lock says but in mili seconds before the locker loads up even i can get the password without using the content locker and some people are smart enoght to watch the source code and the password.

I do the following:

Force people to download via completing a content locker.
Links are cloaked, and rather hidden well.

Only some people are smart enough to find them.
You run the risk of having people not be happy.


If you are pushing a product that does not need member loyalty I do the following-
Set up a download content locker on a password locked archive.
Have the archive contain a text file with directions to get the password.
Have password page content locked.


I personally get around a 25% conversion on the first and a 10% on the second.

Make your password more complex so even several seconds the user would not be able to memorize it if they saw it. If a user is smart enough to view source then let them have it - maybe 1 out of 500 will do this and you would probably not have converted them anyways
