If it really is viral worthy, try seeding. Basicly submit the link to your video as soon it's online to popular blogs/forums as joemonster, reddit, memebase, thedailywhat, failblog, Ray William Johnson, ect.
Also let a few people (like friends) share the video on facebook & twitter. If it really is viral worthy, it will quickly get it speed on its own.

Some other tips...
1)Keep your video featured and auto played on your channel.
2)Increase your friend/contact count and every 2-3 days, post a bulletin sharing the video. It helps with me, since I have over 4,000+ friends or shall I say, "Contacts".
3)Increase your tags as much as you can. If you go to edit video, YouTube automatically generate your video tags, so keep adding as much as you can.
4) Optimize your video title for easy searches. This increases the chances of your video being found in searches.
5)This is black hat, but use sites..

These sites, help speed up the process.
6)Have an assload of patience, it can take weeks, to months and even a year to get desired results. Don't give up and keep trying.
7)It doesn't always take 1,000,000 views to be viral. Just have 20,000-100,000 views is enough to attract attention and really start building views. The more views it has, the faster you get views.
I am currently working on a video and gotten 17,000+ views in a week. Gonna keep promoting until I get 100,000.

Here's a little strategy that works great for me. Find a popular forum that gets plenty of traffic in your area (fitness site on bodybuilding forums) and ask people if they will put your link and a few words in their signatures for $5-10 a month. Only accept people that do 10+ posts a day, tell them to remind you on the next month to pay you again, alot of them will forget for a few weeks and you can get some extra advertising

That's not "viral"...
But anyways spam this shit on Reddit, they seem to be dumbasses when it comes to this shit, they click everything.
