I kept thinking it wasnt working at first.. try to wait it lags for a while and takes a long time but finally worked for me...

Win 7 64bit here too, doesn't seem to be working for me.

Oh well, I can wait. Not like I'm going to go hire a bunch of devs to go create a competing product just because TA is down for a day :p

On a side note I used ccleaner to uninstall before installing the new update.

Yeah, it really longer than before because its attempting to connect in the original server first.

Cheap hosting is never the way to go. If I had problems with any of the sites on my server, I can call my hosting provider (Liquid Web) right now and it will be immediately dealt with and fixed. Even on Christmas eve. Even tomorrow on Christmas day. Doesn't matter.

Im with 1and1 for many years now but this is my worst experience with them. I called them, got no answer, fired an email then I got a reply about email verfication blah blah, I called again, no response for long time. I got a response just to find out that they cant handle it and the team that does is not available. They are advertising 24\7 support but its actually not, it depends on the problem.

Im just glad my other servers are hosted in other companies. As soon as I got access again, Ill probably start moving to other companies.
 
Tried uninstalling with CCleaner and reinstalling the fix, but still isn't working.

Sorry to hear error, you have one of the best twitter applications on the net, which is quite an amazing achievement. It's a shame some other company has to go and screw it all up.

You never know how good your host is until you have to deal with their Support when you have problems. :)

I had to send in a Support ticket to my VPS because it was down. Been dealing with them for 4 and a half months now and this is the first time I have had problems. I have 2 VPS's with them and they were both down. They replied to my Support request within an hour even on Christmas day. An hour after that, they are both up and running again.

I downloaded and installed the Account creator from the Email that you sent. Was planning on updating profiles on several accounts but I can not do anything with it. When I start it, it comes up with a message that it can not connect to the server. I close the box and it continues to run. However, the version that I downloaded from your Email is out of date. When I close the dialog box, it does not check for updates. When I try to do anything with it, it just says in the status column "Your version will no longer work with Twitter".

Is there any way to get an up to date version of the Account creator? Because it is not going through the "Checking for updates" process. Even if it did try and update, it would probably look for the update on your original server which will be down for at least a few days it seems.
 
I have uninstalled and reinstalled again, and it works fine for me. Hopefully after this, it'll be better and not facing this problem anymore.
