Yes and no. Technorati characterizes itself as a blog search engine. So the articles and the blog's directories are fully indexed.

However..the social media tags..etc. are not.

But...it's still incredibly useful. Bookmark your site on there, and then ping it to weblogs. Then within 24hours, Google will have your site on Google Blog Search

I need help with getting a backlink from technorati. I found a ton of ******** PR5 pages from technorati. The problem is when I try and post a comment with anchor text, it doesn't work. I was thinking it was maybe because each comment is moderated but that wasn't the case as I tried another page which was a PR3 and it worked fine. Could it be only High PR pages that don't accept comments. Please advise if anyone here has had similar problems.

They are of no use because google do not index them and technorati uses JS in comments so i think the link doesn't count anyway...

Yeah, I just checked a bunch of 2-6month old comments and none are indexed in Google.
