Hey everyone on BHW, I am a long time reader but decided to make an account not too long ago, and today it looks like I am making my first post 
.
I joined fiverr about 2 months ago and so far have gotten a pretty decent return, it is in no means a steady stream of income, some weeks I have barely any orders and then overnight a couple more show up, However, it has been fantastic for paying for domains, hosting, and of course ordering a couple gigs with the money you make on the site
If you have not gotten a taste of making money online, Fiverr is a great place to start, I know there are numerous posts about optimizing Fiverr gigs and the like, but here are some rules to stick by that have paid out for me.
I hope I helped a couple of you and maybe convinced you to try it out!
BTW anyone that is curious, I attached an image of my dashboard of my fiverr stats, I might need a few more posts to be able to do that /shrug

1)Squeeze every single detail out to make your title for your gig. Fiverr isn't like youtube where short titles catch the most viewers in my opinion, at Fiverr the longer the title with the most adjectives, the more attention it will draw.
2)Continuing on title optimization, take advantage of the one CAPS word they allow you to put in your title. Words like AMAZING, PROFESSIONAL, CLEAN, and SIMPLE, are my favorite to add to my title, but do not overdo it, use a different caps word for each gig
3)Everyone knows that the longer the description of your gig the better, so I won't get into that, however I have seen that I get a better return when I add "I am here to make the customer happy" or "Guaranteed delivery" at the end of a description. If you have 100% positive feedback, also add that into the descrip, people like to know they can trust their seller
4)Do gigs that you enjoy doing or can complete in a timely manner. You are after all just getting $4 for your work (little less with paypal fees), make sure the gig matches the price tag, you will thank yourself later.
5)This is overlooked in my opinion more then anything, your profile is your persona, it represents you as a person, take the time to make yourself a custom avatar and fill out the bio information, it especially helps to add anything that coincides with your gigs,if you have gigs that offer graphic designs, add in your bio you are a graphic designer, it makes you see, more professional and that's what its all about when someone is deciding to buy your services
