Top 5 Networks & The Worst 5 Networks

I dont know what to say about it. How to judge them what ways???

Worst Five:

1) Peerfly
2) Peerfly
3) Peerfly
4) Peerfly
5) Peerfly

Why? They banned me over one unsubstantiated complaint, refused any further contact or discussion and stole four figures from me; they threatened to sue me when what I was doing was completely legal (and I live in a different country so it was all hot air anyway); they told me that they would collaborate with law enforcement; Corey tries to censor anyone who says anything negative about Peerfly - he got me my one and only infraction - and at the same time his only contribution to BHW is whoring for his program. Avoid.

That sounds serious. What type of promotion where you doing?

I completely agree with Autumn on this. Peerfly is utter garbage and I will be spreading the information about what happened to me very soon. If it's not allowed here, I'll just scour forums spreading the news.

The promotional method was legal in the US, didn't involved email, didn't contravene any copyrights or trademarks and the traffic quality was top notch: ALL geotargeted credit card holders and proven buyers in that niche, and after Peerfly banned me I sent the traffic to both DatingGold and LoadedCash and they both immediately bumped me up to their top payout level for leads and asked me to send more traffic. However under the TOS of most affiliate programs they can ban you for whatever they want, so I'm not totally surprised that Peerfly gave me the boot, even though it was after only one complaint.

What I'm really raw about was a) Peerfly's refusal to discuss it and the way they hid behind the threat of legal action (although anyone with half a brain could see that no one was going to sue anyone, given that all the parties were in different countries); b) that they didn't pay me for the leads already sent (because I guarantee that the advertiser paid them, because the traffic quality was excellent); and especially c) that they readily volunteered that they were going to help with "law enforcement." If you are a BHW member then that's not the kind of affiliate program you want to be involved with.

Plus I am very against any company that tries to censor people trying to say bad stuff about them by petty and underhanded means like getting infractions against someone on a message board. I am not the only person I know who has sent good traffic and then been banned, but whenever anyone says anything bad Corey will jump in and immediately start throwing around the word "fraud" in an attempt to undermine the person's credibility.

I would also add that with the particular offer I was promoting, there was some extremely dodgy shit going on with leads not being counted, but I will refrain from throwing around the "s-word" because it was unclear at the time whether it was on the network or the advertiser's end.

The moral of the story is that Peerfly is COMPLETELY blackhat un-friendly and should be avoided at all costs unless your traffic is whiter than white.

It's important to note that Autumn won't tell us who is he is. I can't comment on why he was removed from our network since he only wants to bash us anonymously but I'm positive he's not telling the full story. And he's lying about why he received an infraction here. It had nothing to do with him bashing PeerFly. Check his posts, that's nothing new.

It's allowed here. Just be sure to post who are you.

No one is trying to censor anyone. People are free to post what they want. The problem is the people who bash us don't post proof. They did something they shouldn't of did and they're mad they got caught. We're not just going to sit back and watch fraudulent publishers bad mouth because they couldn't hide their tracks.

Indeed. Run with blackhat friendly networks. I'm sure you'll be paid and they'll be around a long time. Then you can come on here and complain about how they scammed you.

Corey tries to censor anyone who says anything negative about Peerfly - he got me my one and only infraction - and at the same time his only contribution to BHW is whoring for his program.
You didn't receive an infraction for bashing PeerFly and I'm not "whoring" out anything. You mention PeerFly on this forum more than I do.

We pay legitimate publishers on time, every time. If you plan on running shady traffic then stay away from us. It's that simple. :)

at least peerfly don't shave me a single offer like other BH friendly networks !
and they have kind and polite AM with fast support .
best network i tried

I don't have to post my identity. This is a black hat forum, not a bank application. Don't you worry Corey, I have screenshots of everything YOU messaged me. I'm not the only one that's going to be bringing this to light either. This was all over some chump change too. What a pity.

You keep thinking that honey. I had people telling me what was on the other side of offers. Not once, not twice...over ten times with no conversions showing. They weren't email/zip submits either.

Peerfly is the first network I ever made money with. It was glorious. But things have changed a lot since then. I started earning less and less with the same amount of traffic, which tested elsewhere, converted like candy on halloween. I got my moral of the story and I stopped working with them. And after switching the network everything got back to normal.
I'm very interested in marusia's story and I'm actually not surprised, as I was suspecting something like that is going on with more people. I look forward to reading it.

i didn't make my decisions based on other people stories I'm talking
from experience honey :p, and yes I'm promoting email/zip submit only
with peerfly to be honest about other offers i don't know .

I long ago gave up on getting my money from your awful program. Why would I reveal my real identity on this board to someone who has rather ridiculously threatened to sue me?

And he's lying about why he received an infraction here. It had nothing to do with him bashing PeerFly.
In case anyone is interested, the infraction I received was for posting something like "Corey needs all the money he steals from affiliates to fund his addiction to shemale prostitutes." Obviously the bit about shemale prostitutes has a bit of a low blow and I have nothing against gays, but if Corey claims that my post wasn't bashing Peerfly then he missed the point... or is just lying. Either way I would expect a bit of a thicker skin from an affiliate rep, and taking the trouble to file an infraction report about it shows a petty vindictiveness that would ring warning bells in any of my partners.

Check his posts, that's nothing new.
I long ago had written off the money Peerfly didn't pay me. However since you got me my only infraction on this board in almost 2000 posts for making that single flippant comment, then I will be here every time Peerfly comes up to tell my story.

No one is trying to censor anyone. People are free to post what they want. The problem is the people who bash us don't post proof. They did something they shouldn't of did and they're mad they got caught. We're not just going to sit back and watch fraudulent publishers bad mouth because they couldn't hide their tracks.

Why am I not suprised that Corey immediately pulled the "fraud" card?

I have shared the exact method I was using with other people in PMs but I will stress again that by Corey's own admission via email I wasn't banned for fraud - I was banned because Peerfly got a single complaint about my promotional techniques. Instead of having the affiliate's back, saying "thanks for your leads so far, but don't send us any more of that traffic," or at least waiting to hear the affiliate's side of the story, Peerfly gave me the boot, threatened to sue as an excuse not to communicate further (despite the fact that Peerfly, the complainant and I are all in different countries), and took my money.

I will give Corey the benefit of the doubt and assume he is ignorant of the fact that "blackhat" basically has two meanings. There is blackhat traffic generation, where you are sending legit traffic through ingenious, legal means, such as generating high quality search engine traffic and redirecting it to affiliate programs. I fall into this camp - my promotional techniques are grey- or blackhat but the traffic quality is top notch and I have good working relationships with many affiliate programs who want my traffic. Then there is "fraud" traffic - fraudulent leads generated by paying people to fill in leads using proxies etc. This is most definitely not my game and something I think is deplorable, but if you take a read back through Corey's posts, every time someone bitches about Peerfly he accuses them of "fraud."

I'm not really sure what proof Corey expects me to post, but this is a public message board, not a courtoom. I rely on the trust and goodwill that I have built from my many contributions to this board to hopefully steer any aspiring publishers away from Peerfly to a network where their funds aren't at constant risk.

A warning to all my fellow BHW members: Peerfly is NOT a network that is suitable for any kind of grey- or blackhat traffic generation methods.

If I catch an affiliate in fraudulent practices I have no problem in showing them the evidence.
If I have an affiliate who's traffic becomes under scrutiny I have no issues about discussing
with them how this can be rectified.
What I don't understand is networks who treat their affiliates like pieces of meat that are
dispensable.
Affiliates are the lifeblood of any network, without them you are unemployed.

Why would I reveal my real identity on this board to someone who has rather ridiculously threatened to sue me?
If you're in a different country and we can't sue and you didn't do anything illegal, then what's the problem?

and taking the trouble to file an infraction report about it shows a petty vindictiveness that would ring warning bells in any of my partners.
It wasn't any trouble at all. With vBulletin you simply press a button.

I'm not really sure what proof Corey expects me to post
Any proof will do. If you were scammed, then show proof of this.

A warning to all my fellow BHW members: Peerfly is NOT a network that is suitable for any kind of grey- or blackhat traffic generation methods.

Please name me a few major networks that are. I'm not talking about these little networks that pop up every month, please share with me a network that has been around for years that openly accepts blackhat traffic.

I spoke with this publisher today about why she's upset. She was asked to add a seed email to her your email list and freaked out because she then thought we would be able to track her that way. She then requested an early payment request and that was denied. I asked her to send me an example email she sent out and she wouldn't do it. She finally did send it but I don't think it was the one she was using. She refuses to send me the creative she made and was using because she says it was compliant and non-misleading and she doesn't want us to steal it. That's all we wanted her to do. We just wanted to verify her creative was not misleading. Anyways, she'll be paid on time as always. Her early payment was request was simply denied because we could not verify the creatives she was using. She was made aware that she can't use email creatives that are not approved.

I apologize Mary if there was confusion.
